February 18, 2026Lived here for almost 2 years now. Location is relatively secluded and quiet. Apartments are clean and updated. Management is excellent and communicates very well. Plenty of security cameras that do actually work. Love it here!Review from Apartments.com
Theft Issues but Updated Living Space
April 17, 2022Apartment is updated, but lots of theft issues and vehicles break ins. They recently updated all of the doors and windows and have several leaks. Contacted maintenance to come fix it and they said they can’t find any issues so we have to move our furniture away from windows and doors during rain and snow.Review from Apartments.com

Great Staff and awesome apartments
August 19, 2017I just wanna say this is the nicest apartment complex out there. I have lived there since April of 2017 and the staff has been great. Mia was my original leasing agent and then i got the pleasure of meeting Chivina a few weeks later. These lady's go above and beyond when it comes to accommodating you at your apartment home. I needed to transfer to a different apartment with more space. All I can say is Carrie the manager was amazing! She took the time to talk to me and understand the situation. ...Because of all of these lady's I plan on being at South Summit for a very long time. I love my new 2 bedroom apartment. The neighbors are great and there is a dog park to accommodate my furry friends. I also really enjoy the diversity that the complex has to offer. It creates a really good atmosphere for everyone.Property Manager Responded

Good location, but complex could improve.
April 24, 2017I no longer live at South Summit, but wanted to provide some info for others. The windows and sliding door in our apartment had a poor weather seal, which drove up our heating bill. During the few snow storms Missouri receives, moisture would eventually come thru the sliding door. The provided fix of an added foam gasket did not help much. Also the dog park was not picked up very well, which is more on the renters, but still if you advertise having a dog park it should be maintained. Exceptional Apartment Living
August 28, 2015South Summit is one of those rare communities where a majority of the traffic and move ins come from resident referrals and previous residents who move back in.....that says a lot about the place! Everything is so well maintained, inside and out. The property is beautiful. It's nestled away on top a hill surrounded by lush landscaping and beautiful views. In the winter people say it reminds them of a ski resort. And the smell of the wood-burning fireplaces makes it super cozy. Every single ...apartment is renovated with the same custom finishes. The floor plans are spacious and bright. There are several amenities including a pool, fitness center, and dog park. And you just can't beat the location.
