Spring Valley Apartments

As everyone who checks us out knows, Spring Valley is a "quiet" community, meaning all that apply are aware of this and WANT to live in a community where all residents respect each other including noise. If you had made us aware that your neighbors were not being respectful, we would have assisted you in resolving the problem. With regards to noise from downtown, our closest building is 0.3 mile to Caroline St. I imagine if you live in that building, and one of the loud bands is playing downtown, and your windows are open, and the wind is blowing our way, you will hear the music on some summer nights. With regards to the bathroom size, just curious why you rented the apartment (flat) if you thought the bathrooms were too small. Best of luck and hope you find what you are looking for.

Sorry to hear you are disappointed with us. We think our rent renewal process is quite fair and not as you stated. Renewals are sent out 90 days prior to lease expiration and we ask our residents to let us know 60 days (2 months not 4-5 months) prior to the expiration. And, if residents need more time to decide, we usually are able to provide that. We would never indicate to someone upon coming to our community that your rent won't be raised at renewal and, in fact, if market conditions dictate, rents may decrease at renewal. If I am correct as to who the writer of this review is, your rent went up at your first annual renewal by $30 per month or just 2% and, at your second renewal by $20 per month or just 1.3%. You could have chosen to not renew or at least discussed with us your belief that we had stated that rent would not increase at renewal.
