Rat infested
October 20, 2022Worst apartment I ever lived in. Moved in here pregnant in April and within a month my AC went out bc it was “dirty”. You would think it would’ve been cleaned before moving in. After that was fixed, the smoke detectors started going off in the middle of the night bc of faulty old wiring (still not fixed). Rained a lot this summer and the ceiling started showing wet spots. Last straw, RATS started eating through the floor making holes in the floor from the ground, coming in to eat my dogs food, ...while my newborn baby was in there! They wouldn’t even work with me to transfer to a safer unit for me and my newborn. Only stayed here 5 months and hated it. Old and dirty property. Would not recommend, especially if you have babies.Property Manager Responded

DON’T MOVE HERE IF YOU DON’T LIKE NOISE
April 13, 2021VERY LOUD - DO NOT MOVE HERE! Walls are so thin and it’s overpriced. You can literally hear word for word everything your neighbors say and don’t get me started on nighttime! Don’t do it!
June 23, 2020You will regret moving to this property! You will not see the apartments you move into. Everything will most likely break and the leasing office will express that it’s due to the apartment being old. I lived here for less than a year and have a too many bad experiences I have lost count. I currently have birds in my wall and wasp coming out a hole in that same wall and it’s considered an none emergency. I ask to speak to a manager and for and appointment and was unreceptive to getting either. The ...office even block my phone number. Worst Experience My family and I had / prospective renters beware
July 27, 2019This place is b.s. At move in we found hairs (human and pet) all over the walls with paint on some parts; in the bathrooms, kitchen drawers and refrigerator; we could tell they did no cleaning after the previous renters left and just slapped some paint on walls and called it a day. There was lots of dust which you can obviously tell has been accumulating for months on doors. one of the tubs in upstairs bathroom kept on leaking. Maintenance would come fix it and it would start leaking again as ...soon as you turn the water back on. The fire detectors would go off every time we turn on the stove or/ and oven; we inquired about it and we were told nothing could be done. one of the doors upstairs was broken. The master bath had a rusty tub stopper (they refused to change it) All that was just upon move in. While living there, we had to deal with constant washer and dryer malfunction. The air and heat would never distribute evenly in the place causing us to have the temperature at an all time high/low increasing our electric bills. All the window mesh screens were broken letting all sorts of insects in everyday from spiders to mice. They have the cheapest blinds installed; the type which a five month old touches and it breaks; the leasing office would then ask you to fix it right away or you’ll get charged a fee as if they have a good image to maintain. Stove burners always broke down and stopped working. After having maintenance come in several times to replace them, I got tired of requesting maintenance for them and just delt with using only 2 stove burners for the remainder of my time there. The water in bathrooms always took forever to warm up causing us to leave water on for longer than necessary increasing water bill. The dumpster is always full and not emptied as needed. There is absolutely nothing luxurious about this place. Everything is poorly made with material of poor quality and outdated appliances that keep on breaking down. one of the worst parts is at move out they charged me a ridiculously high fee for what they called “repairs” for stuff that other rental properties call normal wear and tear; charging me for carpet and countertop replacements, light fixture rust that was existing prior to my moving in, and much more. It really takes a lot for me to write a negative review and this is my first ever. I made the mistake of not reading reviews before moving to that community. Don’t make the same mistake or you’ll be sorry.Property Manager Responded

Maintain
May 8, 2019I had to stand by the kitchen and wipe down the water from rain sometime in the middle of the night as well. The issues that i’ve been reported to them they seemed like never work out for me at all. We pay to stay but we don’t get the service we want.Property Manager Responded

Some good and bad
March 3, 2017I have lived in Springfield Apt. For almost one year. During that time there has been a continual problem with the dumpsters not being emptied. Trash overflows and ends up all around the dumpster areas. I have addressed this issue with the three different property managers that have been here during my time as a resident. That my be part of the problem, no consistency in management. One positive the maintenance crew does good work in a timely manner. Do NOT move into these apartments...
July 21, 2016Do not move into these apartments... There are pros, but there are more cons. Pros: -Friendly staff/maintenance -Clean grounds -Designated parking -Pet friendly Cons: - Everything is very poorly made and slapped together. I know it's apartment living, but I've lived in much better built apartments for a lot less money (in the same area as these). - It's all smoking. If you're a smoker, then this won't be a problem for you. The past few apartments I've lived in have automatically been ...non-smoking, and I didn't think there were still smoking apartments (unless you specifically asked to be in a smoking building). Because they are so poorly built, the smoke makes its way into the apartment. It's a full blown smoke smell that makes your clothes reek of it. We've purchased two air filter/purifiers, several charcoal bags, and numerous air fresheners and plug ins. It has helped a little. - The courtesy patrol office is not the least bit courteous. I've lived in apartments my entire life, and I know the difference in what it sounds like for upstairs neighbors to be walking around, and upstairs neighbors having a hoard of children running, jumping, bouncing off the walls. My lights on my ceiling were shaking for goodness sakes! Of course, as soon as I called the courtesy office, the guests upstairs left, which left the courtesy officer with no witness of the sound itself. After apologizing profusely for wasting his time because they had just left, he told me I know sound like, "the kid who cried wolf." I apologized again,and sent him on his way - All the appliances are outdated and don't do the job they should. We'll turn the oven on to bake something, and the stove top will heat up to the point that it's too hot to even lay your hand on for more than a second. All other appliances are seriously outdated and don't do the job they should - Bugs... We've has maintenance come out to spray for bugs (ants, mites, tiny little grey bugs, centipedes, etc.) numerous times, and we still have them. We keep a clean apartment. We've pointed out where we think the bugs are coming from (a whole near the window), and they haven't done anything to fix it.. besides spraying more pesticides.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Fantastically Wonderful
October 11, 2015Hi, Springfield Apartments has been nothing short of amazing. They worked with us every step of the way. My boyfriend and I were in dire need to move out of a not so safe other apartment, and Springfield was our guardian angel. That probably sounds a little over the top, but it is the best way to describe how they have changed our lives. As introverts we prefer quiet, safe areas to walk our dog and settle in after a long day at work, to read. Springfield absolutely provided that. The grounds ...are very well kept, the staff is friendly and attentive. The new upgraded ammentities are out of this world. We love it. Coming from our old apartment we had very specific needs and wants in a potential place. Springfield understood this and made sure we had everything we needed and met every requirement. I really feel at home here. No bells and whistles, just nice , clean, safe, apartments. Simple. It's so nice feeling and being treated like a human being. No loud or rowdy neighbors, no promises of something they have no intentions of providing. Friendly, prompt maintenance, 24 hour gym, pet friendly (yes really!), and all around nice place. I really have no complaints. If you enjoy solitude, maybe you're an introvert, or maybe you just enjoy the freedom to be able to do simple things like walk to your mailbox without being harassed, please check this place out. Our floor plan is the Willow and it is more than we ever could have imagined. The apartments here feel and look more like townhouses rather than an apartment. Everyone is friendly and pretty much minds their business. I would absolutely recommend Springfield to anyone. Great place for a great price.No secrets. You know exactly what you are getting. My boyfriend and I visited several time during different times of day to view our potential unit, and the staff was more than happy to oblige everytime. Of course there are always downsides or bad for every good. But here at Springfield the good I think, outweighs the very little bad. The property manager lives on site! As in she didn't disappear upon getting our signature on the dotted line. This is an excellent apartment complex for any size family, even families with children. So Far, So Good
August 14, 2015I moved in July this year and have been very pleased with the condition of the unit. The grounds and common areas are well maintained. The pool area has a resort feel with lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas. My only complaint is the patio area could be larger.Review from Apartments.com
