I firmly believe that this is a building-wide issue that the management knows about but refuses to take real action on. Once per week pest control (that cannot come more often, so wait times can be up to 7 days), where they stuff steel wool in the wall openings, is not enough to address the problem. I spoke to someone in the building who had trapped 12-15 mice in their apartment. That is not normal. A damp, musty smell in the entire building is not normal. Continuing to see mice after several rounds of pest control coming is not normal. A closet panel being "secured" shut partially with clear tape is not normal. Please do not try to tell yourself that these things are normal; they are not. Everyone deserves to live in an apartment free of pests with management that cares to fix real issues, and this apartment does not provide that. Please do not move here.
