    I've lived at Stone Oak Apartments for three years and have grown to appreciate the modern upgrades and cozy atmosphere. The abundance of natural light and recent improvements make my apartment feel welcoming every day. While there have been occasional delays in maintenance, the overall community vibe and convenient location in Independence, MO, keep me satisfied.

    New management is so much better. I moved in last summer when the old owners had Stone Oak and had asked to get my stove fixed over and over again, but they never did it. The new management fixed my stove the first time I called.

    tried calling to look at a space and when I finally got an answer, person in office was very rude. said he didn't have anything to show, and when informed it needed to be fixed on websites, he hung up on me. very bad service to someone looking to rent from them. DO NOT consider this place.

  • poor management more like no management

    Since new owners took over there is no maintenance and they cash your rent check on the 30th of the month before it is due and then put a note on your door on the 14th to pay or get out in 3 days! Scamming, scheming, landlords! The trash doesn't get picked up until bags are falling out of the top of the dumpsters. The grass is rarely mowed anymore and when it is it's done poorly. Seriously this place has gone downhill in just 2 months. Great location...but no management.
