Overall, I have not enjoyed living at Stonewood Village. My rent has gone up the past 3 years and if I renew it will go up again. Compared to other places, it is newer, but has not been updated since it was built. My apartment only has 3 windows and so it is very dark, it also molds easily. You are only allowed to have satellite dishes on your porch, so if you are the unlucky person who does not face south then you are out of luck. ...breakdowns and you need to sign in when you use it on a public clipboard (which sounds like a good feature so not just anyone can use it, however, I don't really like to advertise when I'm not at home...) In the winter, the company that does the plowing rarely comes before you'd need to leave for work leaving you driving through the snow. They also have a policy that they claim is wonderful so no one steals your package (again, a nice feature, but because of their office hours, you're lucky if you find one day when you can actually make it there before they close.) Actually, you're lucky if they are actually there when they said they would be. Overall, I'm not impressed, the only reason I've stayed this long is because it's on the lower price range of most of the apartments in Madison. If I can find something comparable in price, I'm out of here!
