Best Downriver!
February 1, 2023This is my third apartment at Stratford Place Apartments and I have to say it just keeps getting better! Everything is clean and beautiful and the new manager, Valerie works so hard to make improvements and communicate with the residents, she even has resident events which never happened in the past. The maintenance team, Mano and Melissa are awesome and they are always willing to go above and beyond to make my home wonderful! Sheila in the office seems knowledgeable about the property and she ...has been there since my first apartment in 2008!! I cannot say enough good things about this community and would recommend it highly to anyone looking in the future. I know they have been staying full for the last few years though so the waitlist option is your only way in!! Love, Love, Love my home!!Property Manager Responded

Great place to live
January 25, 2023I have lived here for a while now and am very pleased with this community. It is a secure, quiet and friendly place to live. It is very well kept, and they are always updating things. I Couldn't Be Happier - Quiet, Clean, & Friendly!
February 2, 2022I was weary of going back to "apartment life," but needed to move quickly due to the house I was renting being full of mold, affecting my health, and a negligent property manager nowhere to be found. Stratford Place popped up in my search, and even though I wasn't (at that time) looking at apartments, I kept it bookmarked, and something kept bringing me back to the listing. After seeing the video tours, in-unit laundry (full-sized washer & dryer, not those tiny stackable units!), and most ...importantly, cat friendly, I was warming up to the idea of applying. After doing more research, and seeing the amazing reviews from multiple sources, I decided to jump on the opening for their 2-bedroom "Richmond" model. I had an email from Sheila, their leasing consultant literally in minutes of inquiring. My application was processed, and holding deposit paid all within less than 30-minutes! I bombarded Sheila with probably a million questions, and she made the entire process the easiest leasing experience I've ever had. Fast-forward 3 months, and I'm still just as happy! The communication from the community manager, Valerie is always top-notch! Most of the time, Valerie has emails out to the community about repairs to shared resources before us tenants even realized there was anything out of the ordinary! They really go out of their way to make this feel like a close-knit community and are continuously investing into the buildings, grounds, and infrastructure of the complex. The community is absolutely gorgeous, and I cannot wait to see what the warmer months have in store. My cats absolutely adore curling up in the sun in front the sliding glass door. The community is also very quiet. Living in a multi-family dwelling, some amount of noise is to be expected, but I rarely hear anything from my unit. I've never seen such rave reviews for an apartment community before and was skeptical on their validity, but since moving in, I can honestly say, I am blown away. I firmly believe Tenant-Landlord relationships are always a two-way street. Open, honest communication as well as acknowledgement and actually addressing issues as they arise are paramount. Moving from one of the worst property managers in the state to Stratford Place was a breath of fresh air (literally!)Property Manager Responded

Couldn’t have chosen better
November 7, 2019We lived at Stratford for 4 years and the only reason we left is because we bought a house. The management is highly responsive whenever there’s an issue and always remedied it same-day. Even things that were our fault were taken care of judgement-free. In the summer, I used the pool almost daily and it was always clean and seldom busy. I would have lived there forever if we didn’t need more space. Unfair animal policy
August 25, 2014We have lived here a awhile now, and it seemed very nice lots of families with animals cats, dogs, ect. My husband and I purchased a puppy and were told we couldn't have them and would have random expections into our home, had didnt have alot of privicay Confused we listened and tried to find a home for our new pet when a number of residents had more then one animal in their home. Very upset and looking for a new apartment so you want or love your animals Dont move here!!!!Review from Apartments.com
Nice property
March 6, 2013I toured the community and would have rented there but chose a house instead. They responded to my email inquiry, and were the only one to do so in a timely fashion. However, the real deciding factor was the fact that I could hear the persons downstairs. I knew I wouldn't like that if it happened at night.Review from Apartments.com
