have beautiful plants and flowers and regular upkeep - that's all dying now. We never had these issues prior - when Minerva was the manager. Under new management the place has really gone down the drain and the photos don't represent the current condition. Several long term residents have all tried to encourage upkeep to the usual standards we were used to but we are given excuses and contradictory information. Management even towed a long time resident's car here before checking vehicle records to see it belonged to someone. Plumbing keeps breaking and so water keeps getting shut off. The ACs can't keep up with the intense summer weather so top units get so hot. - These were both always issues however. This place has gone down in value but up in price. Look for other options because this place is slowly turning into one of those cheap, rundown, locations and for the price you can certainly find better. Sonterra apts are way better and much nicer and worth paying the $ that Summer Oaks is trying to get as they have central AC, nice pool and bbq area, good parking with two spots per unit, and lovely landscaping and walking area, gym on property, always clean and well kept, better entrance and more presentable for guests. I regret leaving Sonterra for this place. :/ The only way this place is worth it is if rent is lowered to meet the lowered standards they now provide. They need to improve landscaping, repave, make pool area significantly better, fix the ac/cooling issues somehow by adding ceiling fans to bedrooms which are unlivable in heatwaves.
