All maintenance issues get solved QUICKLY! Ms.King is such a saint! She’s extremely patient and puts the tenants needs first! If I could stay here for the rest of my time in North Carolina I WOULD! No pest problem! Very pet friendly Very peaceful area and never had any issue with neighbors. Everyone respects each others privacy. So close to the mall and ...restaurants as well! King has gone and still goes out of her way to ensure my level of peace stands. A blessing from the most High! An instant joy when I see her around, always with a welcoming smile and so very friendly. When she says she will, she delivers every single time. The apartments are very inviting, clean, very well managed, spacious, sufficient parking, and minutes to everything. The community is quiet and very secure. Since ...being here I have not had one complaint. No bugs, no trash, no fears, of any kind. I've stayed at various places, there was always something lacking. Here...10 out of 10 stars!! They even do these cute little events that are always so much fun when were able to go to them. I've had issues with other residents not even personal but having to call the cops from domestic abuse screams. plus if you have a dog they allow dogs but it's not a very dog friendly place. there's mostly cement that ends up burning there paws and the small area they have for them to run is big enough for a small dog. overall for what they charge it's not worth it.Property Manager Responded

Roaches and ants like crazy in the house, we found the roaches mostly behind the refrigerator. Raccoons by the dumpster until they got rid of the dumpster so now they want you to pay for the new trash policy they have, with terrible restrictions. They always send notices saying that they are coming to your apartment for whatever reason and ask for someone to be there but they NEVER arrive. If you have broken appliances in your home and enjoy a half way done job this is this place for you! Do you like a gated community?! Well unfortunately you won’t fine that here because someone tears down the gate every week. If I wasn’t in contract I would leave immediately. As you are aware, Summerlyn Cottages is under New Management and we are working diligently to address any problems within the Community. In regards to people creating disturbances, we have addressed the problem with the individuals and made it very clear that such behavior will not be tolerated within our Community, as we strongly believe that our residents deserve a home of enjoyable peace and relaxation. As for the gate being damaged, there was an instance of a non-resident not realizing that our gate only allows one car in at a time in order to prevent non-residents from tailgating others through, so that we can provide better security to our Residents. As soon as the damage was realized the next morning we had the gate repaired within 24 hours. The safety and wellbeing of our Residents and Community is something we take very ...seriously. Concerning your appliance issue, please contact the office to place a work order so we can have this fixed for you right away. We have been working diligently to take care of all work order requests in a timely manner, however, please understand that we must address issues like an AC not work when it’s as hot as it’s been. Regardless, we do understand your frustration, and ask that you stop by the office to speak with the Community Manager so that we can address your concerns properly.
