Not bad but be cautious
July 6, 2021I couldn't believe I actually took a gamble and moved into these apartments with no floorplan or dimensions available for a townhouse. I just don't quiet understand how these apartments have been around for so long and no one has ever took the initiative to create a floor plan for their future residents. Over all I'm pleased with the outlay and how quiet these apartments are. I do wish some type of sign or reflectors of some sort was put in for where to enter the apartment complex because it can ...be easily over seen driving down 1960 especially at night. I am satisfied to a point as a tenant to say the most but feel like I'm just another number to the books. I'm new to being a renter so I expected a better experience. On another note. Management seems a bit disorganized and lack communication amongst themselves and residents. As for maintenance, I understand they needs to prioritize work. I just wish they were good with responding to our work orders with an estimated time of when issues can be resolved and what alternative are offered to tendants if a service they provide is down. I don't mean to sound privellaged but if I'm paying for an expensive service I expect a resolution to be offered as an inconvenience to their tendants. Good customer service goes a long way if you are running people business. It's frustrating and I feel like a fool for putting my trust into these people. I just want to be able to use my dryer properly without getting shocked or having my clothing shredded because it's damage internally. I just moved in 4 weeks ago and haven't been able to use my dryer for 3 weeks. These grounds also have a huge roach problem outside. I'm greatful they have yet to entered into my home. Needs attention
December 17, 2020The place has roaches and the staff will not fix the problem. There's been over 5 residents who all say they've called an complained- yet no reply or concern. Maintenance guy doesn't do his job and stares at everyone creepily. No security besides the gate and they refuse to put in camerasProperty Manager Responded
December 21, 2020Hello I am sorry that your stay has not been what you would have desired. Your claim that roaches are everywhere isn't true by any stretch of the imagination. We do in fact service units on a quarterly basis and offer pest control services weekly . If you are ever interested in speaking with myself or any other staff member in person we would gladly love the opportunity to do so. We truly value your feedback and aren't happy that your experience wasn't the best.

Management is awful.
July 18, 2020I use to love living here. But once they changed management, the place went down hill fast. 1. Leasing managers lock themselves in the office. 2. Don’t answer when you knock. 3. They don’t answer the phones. 4. They barely answer emails. 5. They won’t take our packages so they are left outside in the open with an honor system. 6. They lie and say they don’t get maintenance requests, even though us residents get a confirmation email. 7. I have gotten rude responses when I finally get fed up ...waiting for them to repair something. 8. They haven’t changed the gate code in years, so we get random drug deals in the apartments and people coming in and filling up our dump bins and then leave. 8. Our pool as been closed all summer even though other communities have their pool open. Bring back the old managers! We miss them.Property Manager Responded

Rats
July 29, 2019I lived in a 3 bedroom and it had rats. I moved to a 2 bedroom and a rat came through the drain while my wife was showering which caused her to fall. All they did was provide sticky traps. Never caught a rat. They were too big for the traps. They would just run over the traps and drag them. I would not recommend this complex. There was a sex offender living in complex that management didn’t know about. I had to show them the dps sex offender site . They did make him move.Review from Apartments.com

I had to get something fixed right after I moved in and they came the very NEXT day and took care of it!! August 14, 2015These apartments are perfect if you're looking for a quiet place to call home. The pool stays clean, the parking lots are ALWAYS spotless, and the neighbors nice and friendly. The staff are extremely nice and helpful and maintenance requests are always fulfilled in a timely manner. Also, every thing you will ever need is one block away! The grocer, pharmacy, fuel, nothing is too far and you will always have your parking spot when you get back.Review from Apartments.com
Sunrise at Atascocita is nice
August 5, 2015When we first moved in we found the apartment complex to be very nice. Unfortunately we moved in right across from a building that was under construction due to a fire. Besides that we found the actual apartment to be comfortable. It's well lit and offered all appliances. We did find there to be some plumbing issues involving our neighbors bath water leaking into our shower below as well other frequent plumbing issues. There's also a lack of parking spaces. When the construction was finally ...completed and the apartments were rented, it left those who had already been here for months without parking spaces, sometimes having to park on the other side of the complex. Besides those two issues, it's a comfortable and safe place to live. I haven't heard of any crime within the apartment complex and feel generally safe even when getting home late at night.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
