Great location, clean brand new building

Lived there for close to a year. The location is fantastic, with a 3-minute walk to George Washington Bridge and a short commute to NYC. It has a decent Manhattan view and plenty of sunshine. The building is also brand new with a gym barely used. So it's mostly like your own gym.
The super is also a very nice guy who cleans the common areas almost everyday. Neighbors around me are respectful and quiet. It's also a dog-friendly building which is a rare find in Fort Lee area.

Grout falls out from between the tiles every time we shower. The shower itself is not pitched properly, so water pools in the corner and almost overflows when we use it. There's some issue with the parking garage, and people who park on the lower level have a white substance falling on their cars.
But the worst thing BY FAR is that the floors are paper thin. We hear our upstairs neighbors constantly. They have a small child and we wake up to the pitter-patter of little feet and fall asleep to ...
it at night. As if that was not enough, we hear our downstairs neighbors as well. I'm currently enjoying the musical tastes of the residents below us... Tonight's selection is Biz Marie's classic "Just A Friend".

The floors are a huge problem for us, as you can hear your neighbors stomping all over the place. Every step they take, every move they make - you will not only hear it but feel it. At first we figured they just moved in and it will stop, but it is never ending. It came to the point where we had to ask our upstairs neighbor to help us out a bit but she stated that she can hear her upstairs neighbor as well - that is when we realized it must be the flooring.
I can't work from home, we can't even ...
sleep because of the stomping in the wee hours of the morning. Our entire apartment shakes. I have lived in various apartments throughout Northern Jersey and Manhattan, and have NEVER experienced such constant disruption. Only consider living here if you will be living on the top floor. Otherwise, a nice spacious apartment in a good location.
