June 29, 2025I have been living in this building for several years now, and have encountered just about every problem you can possibly imagine. To begin with it is filthy. It appears as though dirt or dust has been painted/varnished over. There are also EXTREME issues with pests, particularly roaches and water bugs. I literally didn’t even know that an infestation could be this bad. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on trying to take care of the pest problem on my own since the management does not seem to do ...anything to fix the issue. There is also a total and complete lack of any sound privacy whatsoever. I can hear all of my neighbors in all directions at all times, including through the night. At a certain point I even decided to bring a mattress into my living room, so that I could finally get some sleep. In my opinion I should be able to sleep in my actual bedroom undisrupted. When I first moved in, there was an ongoing domestic violence situation in the apartment above me that I had to listen to all day all night. I reported this to the management and even called the police on one occasion, which is some thing I try to avoid at all costs. Both parties were completely and utterly unhelpful and dealing with the situation. The building is in constant disrepair, and we have not had access to laundry facilities that actually work since January of this year. I’ve reported this about three times and there have been no attempts to repair the issue. They keep saying that it’s the task of the company who rents the washing machines to them, but I just feel as though they have a certain duty to their tenants to provide an adequate quality of life. I wish those were the only issues, but unfortunately, I also had a situation with black mold that I had to handle myself. I am trying desperately to move out as soon as possible. I am currently dealing with someone moving in above me and stomping/slamming things around at all hours, which I can hear extremely clearly. This is the final straw for me as I was told that work would be done to improve the sound privacy before they moved someone else in. The appliances are constantly in disrepair and I simply do not have the time or energy to constantly be scheduling maintenance. In addition the security system is inadequate and we have had issues with break-ins. One of my neighbors apparently found a couple who did not live in the building having sex in one of the laundry rooms. Nightmare apartment, do not move here!!!!!!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
