    I’ve lived at The Prospect for a few years now and I genuinely have no reason to look anywhere else until I move out of the city to start a family. The location is hard to beat. The walkable score should WAY higher IMO. It’s right outside of Uptown, perfectly positioned between the heart of South End and the city. You’re close to everything, restaurants, gyms, coffee shops, games, nightlife, all of it. But you don’t feel like you’re living in the chaos of Uptown. You get the convenience without ...
    the noise and craziness. For context, I moved here from NYC. I’ve lived right in the middle of Uptown Charlotte and I’ve also lived further out on the outskirts. I missed the city energy, but I did not love being directly in Uptown. Here feels like the perfect balance. You’re connected to everything without being overwhelmed by it. What really makes this place stand out though is the staff. The leasing agents are excellent. Professional, responsive, friendly, and actually helpful. They do not treat you like just another unit number. Any time I’ve had a question or needed something handled, it has been addressed quickly and respectfully. The manager runs the building well and it shows. The property is consistently maintained, common areas are clean, and communication is clear. You can tell there’s pride in how this place is operated. The amenities are also a huge plus. The views are beautiful, especially if you enjoy skyline scenery. The common spaces are thoughtfully designed and feel high end without being over the top. The gym is well equipped, the shared spaces are great for working or relaxing, and everything is kept in great condition. It feels like a community, not just an apartment complex. Another big factor for me is the residents. Everyone I’ve encountered has been polite and respectful. In all my years here, I have never had a single issue with neighbors. That says a lot about the kind of environment this building attracts and maintains. If you want city access, great amenities, and a team that actually cares about the people who live here, The Prospect is an easy choice. I see no reason to explore other apartments until the next chapter of life calls.

    Falsely advertised amenities Why is the back door to the parking garage broken for weeks for the second time? I understand accidents happen, however both times it has taken weeks to be resolved. What might seem as a minor inconvenience is really annoying when you can’t turn left out of our front exit. When I moved here, it was advertised that there would be shampoo and towels in the dog spa - I haven’t seen soap there in over a year. Only twice have I seen clean towels and now the dirty ones are ...
    gone too. The dog hair dryer has been broken the last three times I have gone to use it (and I have called to complain in between). The sprinklers go off on the dog turf at inconsistent, unposted times. Sometimes it’s 4:30pm, sometimes it’s not. The coffee machine is broken at least once a week or - if you know it’s going to be out of beans every Monday morning when people are going to work - replenish them on Sunday. You can’t advertise these amenities you charge us for and then not offer their full services. It’s very frustrating.

    Beautiful apartment units with luxurious amenities. Could improve overall vibe: Maintenance staff needs guidance and direction. Office staff needs to work on listening and getting things done for their residents; instead of being condescending, unhelpful, and lazy (harsh but true). This community suites others who do not necessarily care about cleanliness or a supportive front office. Small asks seem to become BIG asks for the staff at The Prospect.

    I solely leased here because it was a Greystar property. You’d think a reputable management company such as Greystar would have better customer service. You’d think that with where it’s located and the amount that rent is, that they would treat people with a little less attitude.

    We visited Numerous apartment communities in Uptown and Southend Charlotte before deciding on The Prospect. It is far superior to surrounding communities for the floor plans and quality of interior finishes inside the apartments. The location is within walking distance to breweries, restaurants, and Bank of America Stadium, while still offering peace and privacy.
