Ongoing problems and Zero accountability
December 8, 2025Tracewood Apartment Homes is the worst-managed property I’ve ever lived in. Serious issues in my unit began less than two months after move-in and repeatedly came back. Ongoing water problems inside and around the building were never permanently fixed — it felt like surface-level patches instead of real repairs. At move-out, management attempted to charge me an extra month of rent despite a valid short-term lease addendum that did NOT require notice. I had to point out their own lease terms to ...them. The entire experience caused unnecessary stress and disruption. If you’re considering living here, read every page of your lease and keep detailed records. Keep a copy of all conversations, service requests, and receipts. Based on my experience, this property is not worth the time, money, or peace of mind.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

May 9, 20232023 update. Still a terrible property. Management switches out more than anyone cares to mention. All of them are robots to me anyways because they never try to understand what living here is like. They just come in and do patch work over rotten moldy buildings & that irrelevant gym. DON'T DO IT!
March 25, 2023The office staff is more worried about fines and eviction notices than they are about anything else. They never answer the phone and they always have an attitude when you go into the office. My air has not worked for an entire month and I have leaks in many different areas of my apartment. This has created mold in a number of places and still nothing has been fixed. They are also very outdated and over priced. Take my advice... Do not move here.Review from Apartments.com
Short and simple
August 1, 2022Drive around first. You sure you wanna live here? The gate hasn’t worked in 2+ years probably won’t ever get fixed.They’ll show you a shiny new apartment but yours will surely be filled with Roaches, rats & mold. Office staff is unhelpful and often antagonistic. Current residents pretty much get treated with disrespect & disregard with none of our issues getting handled. If you sign here you’ll be in the same predicament.Property Manager Responded

June 9, 2022Wanted to give the place a try despite reviews. I was moved into an apartment that was not properly cleaned and most of my appliances did not work properly. Utilities are randomly shut off with no warning for "routine maintenance". Management is unhelpful and will try to antagonize you. Horrible place to live
July 6, 2021First, I would like to say that they love pinning unnecessary fees on you EVERY month. They accused me of doing something I didn’t. They said I put a headboard near the dumpster when I clearly didn’t. When I asked did they have PROOF of this, they couldn’t show me anything and STILL charged me a $25 fee for something someone else did. Secondly, the apartments are infested with roaches and water bugs ? no amount of pest control can resolve that issue. Walls thin as toilet tissue. People leave ...trash all over the parking lot and grass. Noisy neighbors. Only plus of that complex is that it’s close to a lot of shopping centers and restaurants. That’s it. Moving back home ASAP. August 24, 2020The worse apartments complex ever , they have big water bugs you’ll see one everyday , no security, broken gates, thin walls , and the front office sucks . The manger is unprofessional shes never available to talk , no one ever answers the office phone , they take their time getting things done , charge you unnecessary fees .Youll be fixing most of your problems on your own not maintenance. December 18, 2019If y’all wondering why these apts got soooo many openings is because sooooo many people leaving this garbage place. This place is bug infested and don’t let them soak you up by saying they have pest control out every week! They do, but they must be spraying water! EVERYYYYY DAYYY for the last week now my water either been completely OUT, coming out BROWN and/or pressure low! The set up of these apts are ridiculous as well, all types of deeps & weak spots in the floors. Walls just as thin as ...tissue! June 10, 2019They constantly go up on the rent no matter how long you’ve been here or your paying history. People are continuously moving out of these apartments as well. I guess they do this since they’re the only kind of decent apartments around the area but I would highly recommend looking elsewhere at first they may seem nice but after that they don’t care. February 14, 2018This apartments are mold and mildew around the exterior and each unit has lead in the paint, will be seeking a lawyer for legal fees. I can prove the apartments have lead paint; I purchase a home testing kit.
