unbearable noise and little comfort

The biggest issue with this apartment complex is the upstairs noise. Every single step from the unit above sounds like a loud trumpet blasting through the ceiling. It’s constant, disruptive, and makes it nearly impossible to relax or sleep. This is not occasional noise , it’s daily, unavoidable, and clearly the building has poor sound insulation. On top of that, there is relentless noise from outside. Train horns are extremely loud, and street noise comes through at all hours, adding to an ...
already exhausting living environment. There seems to be no effort at all to manage or mitigate noise. As if that weren’t enough, the hallways are freezing. There is absolutely no heating in the common areas, which makes the building feel cheap and neglected rather than comfortable or well-maintained. Overall, this place offers very little comfort and even less peace. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if quiet and basic livability matter to you.
