March 19, 2025IF YOU’RE THINKING ABOUT LIVING HERE, DON’T! If I could give zero stars, I would. The location is not worth the outrageous rent and all the extra fees. I’d rather live in Reid again than deal with this place. Management seems more focused on charging fees than addressing real issues in the apartments. The gates are always broken, the doors are often left open, and it smells like homeless people might be living in the stairwell because it reeks of pee. On top of that, there are frequently homeless ...people sleeping outside of Frisco, which feels unsafe as a young woman. This place is an absolute joke.Property Manager Responded

June 15, 2022I would say that this apartment complex is nice because the staff. If I had issues with noise they were always on call, willing to help fix any maintenance issues, and they always maintained a clean environment. The Academy at Frisco
December 26, 2021My experience here at the Academy at Frisco has been very pleasant. I love the location and the atmosphere here. I love the pool and the gym. The gym does not have a bench bar but it has everything else. The price is very good for college students and it is located right by Dickinson as well. I love it here.Property Manager Responded

Uncaring management, unhelpful staff
June 24, 2021A friend was having issues with roommates under age drinking, partying late, and smoking weed in the room. They brought this to the managements attention, and the management was wholly uncaring. Did not try to resolve the issue, and told them they could pay to transfer to a new apartment, despite the lease having provisions for roommate conflict. Then the upgrades started recently. I was basically kicked out of my apartment for the entire day because they redid the flooring and took out my ...toilet. Then they took all the items out of my cabinets and drawers and just left them on the floor so they could redo the countertops. I didn’t have water for a day and half. The staff was uncaring and never appologized for the inconvenience. The woman I talked to was rude and condescending.Property Manager Responded
