Poor Communication from Management
February 28, 2024I recently had an unfortunate experience with Meadows Crossing ("The Ace"). I moved out of their premises last year, and despite my efforts to maintain a positive relationship, I was disappointed by their handling of the move-out process. Firstly, I was taken aback when I received a notice from collections regarding an outstanding amount related to my move-out. What disappointed me the most was the lack of communication from the property manager and his employer, Velo residential. I firmly ...believe that as a tenant, I should have been notified and given an opportunity to address any issues before matters escalated to collections. One single email is not enough. Furthermore, the move-out summary provided by the property included charges that I believe were unjustified. It seems I was held responsible for their oversight in collecting utility payments, which I find unreasonable. Additionally, the manager's failure to personally reach out to me and instead resorting to sending the matter directly to collections reflects poorly on their professionalism and the management practices of the property. While I understand that mistakes happen, I expected better from them after living there for 3 years and never being late on rent. Unfortunately, my experience has left me with a negative impression of their customer service and management approach. I hope my feedback serves as a constructive reminder for Meadows Crossing ("The Ace") to improve their communication channels and handle similar situations with more care and transparency in the future.Property Manager Responded
