Most recent frustration: friend arrived late on Memorial Day night and parked in front of my building as there were no open guest spaces but plenty of regular spaces and he had a lot of luggage. When we went out in the morning, his car had been towed. It was towed at 5:26 am. By contrast, a boat was parked in the complex for over 2 weeks before the office emailed everyone asking it to be moved. It took months to repair a lighting issue that posed a safety hazard and the fix isn’t always reliable ...
as the lights are still sometimes out. The walking gates sometimes work and sometimes don’t without any explanation. Because they pick and choose when to enforce certain things, there’s no rhyme or reason. Theft is a recurring issue here. The staff are nice but nice doesn’t cover the towing fee I just paid or help me feel safe in this community

I moved to The Addison a week ago. Megan & Sabrina were both very responsive and eager to assist (especially via email). Megan is the amazing, as well as the gentleman that I believe is a manager. They are both very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Megan gave me a breakdown of everything and ensured that she explained everything thoroughly. There weren't any available studios to view at the time, so she sent me a video and she committed to contacting me when one became available to show. On ...
the video alone, I decided to apply on a Saturday and was informed that I was approved on Monday (talk about swift!). She stuck to her word though and showed me a unit, and I was very impressed! We emailed a number of times on different occasions before I moved in (I committed to this property 2.5 months before moving in) and each time Megan and the rest of the staff were very humble, dedicated, and personable. There were even renovations and a "facelift" done from when I first inquired lol. I would encourage prospective tenants to move here because the apartments are conveniently located, and thus far everything has been fun, safe, and rewarding. There are seasonal/holiday gatherings (I was invited to participate in the National Puppy Day event), snacks when you enter the office (even puppy treats), and a very clean facility! Moved in 3 months ago to Addison. Lauren was freaking amazing answer all my question was quick to respond to my emails before moving in. Which was super helpful as I travel a lot for work and was not always able to call. On the day of move in everything went quickly and smoothly no issues. They made sure everything was perfect on move in. It was great to do the move in walk thought for any issues with the head of maintenance. As with all apartments have thin walls. For me being on the first ...
floor I almost never hear my neighbors at all even the one above me. Typically, I only ever hear anything is when people let their doors slam shut. So here for me its quiet I guess this all depends on your neighbors. Due to my job I am up different hours of the night and day and never really see anyone outside at night. You may not always park out-front of your building because parking is a bit of a premium which the have parking stickers but no reserved spots. I did found out that the poor reviews were from when it was an old management company and staff was here.The new management and staff are differently working hard to make sure people know. Defiantly love living here and all the amenities are just as nice if not nicer than in the photos. This place does not disappoint.

Mathan our leasing agent was amazing. Helped us find the apartment we needed in four days. Went above and beyond for us. Staff was very helpful with all the questions we've have. From Long Island New York. It was very important for me to get a clean and spacious place. This apartment has everything I needed the pool and cafe lounge are beautiful! 10 min from the city of Charlotte and the airport! Thank You again Mathan!

Have had nothing but a pleasant experience at The Addison so far.
I've worked with Cabre, Matthan, and Lauren. All three of them are friendly, and very helpful. I was moving here from Seattle and driving cross country. On a Friday I gave them a call to see if there were available units. By the following Monday I was moved into new unit. This was very last minute for me and I was pretty stressed with the move, the staff took the moving stress away. Seriously grateful to them. Also shoutout to ...
Roger who I believe is the property maintenance lead ... he is an extremely nice guy and is always successful at putting a smile on my face.
As for the actual apartments ... the units are nice with large closets and bathrooms. The kitchens aren't anything fancy but everything works and is in good condition so I have nothing to complain about! The ceilings also seem very tall.
I would highly recommend this place. If you're looking to rent, be sure to check out The Addison.

First off they want to get money from you anyway they can! Now it is my fault that I did not read the fine print but also I was not reminded that you have to give a 60 day notice that you are leaving when your lease is up. Now I am being charged 700 dollars for two weeks because I did not give my notification in time. I've never lived in an apartment like that. When your lease is up it should be up period! I should not have to send in an notifictian!!! Unacceptable!!

I had a few issues with this place:
The staff doesn't know how to multi-task. If they are talking to someone, they will have you waiting all day if necessary, for the simplest little questions! They walk by you and don't acknowledge you if they are assisting another resident. An acknowledgement would be nice, that's what GOOD customer service is!
The people that live in the apartment complex are NOT the highest of quality.
The appliances are low quality...VERY LOW!
The gym is VERY ...
UNSANITARY!
Our first move-in day was the worst nightmare...and I should have know how this year was going to be after that first day experience. They changed management last Summer, and when we came to sign our lease and get our keys the new manager said they had no idea we were moving in that day. It took all day to get the lease prepared and for us to get our keys, huge inconvenience when you are paying movers and you are on the clock with them.
Last but not least, there is one girl that works at the leasing office who ALWAYS has an attitude like we are bothering her and she tries to get out of doing any work to help existing residents. She is rude and I frankly have started going out of my way to talk to someone else if she is working on a day or weekend...her name is Keyondra. If she hates her job that much she needs to look for something else or somewhere else to work, no need to act like we are in her way each time we walk in with a question. But I see where she gets her attitude from...the manager Sarah. Now that Sarah is gone as of this month maybe they can replace the rest of the staff and get this place back in order.
If you plan on trying this place out for a home, just take my advice and DO NOT sign a 1 year lease - 6 months to try it out would be better.

property was recently purchased and the new management can't get it together! No more parking enforcement. People have guests over and they take your spot. New policies in place that they don't tell you about (they only hold a package from ups for a short time before mailing it back!). No more online payment, and they don't cash checks in a timely manner. They haven't cashed my October check and I just dropped off November. We've been promised for 4 months now that they would get online payment! ...
They are short staffed so don't stop in the office unless you have 20-30 minutes to wait. I never appreciated a well run office until now! It's seriously such a pain. And oh yeah, corporate doesn't care because I tried to reach out to them. I wish I could get out of my lease so I don't have to deal with them. Think twice before moving here! Looks can be deceiving.

Perfect apartments for you and your PET! Not too many apartments are pet friendly these days and despite the fact, management keeps this place clean! Aside from incredible staff, the location is an eye winner, conveniently located near the major highways, groceries, restaurants and shopping. Although it's in a city, it has it's convenience as the country. A down home southern feel!
