Honest review
July 16, 2023Warning I can hear the person below me playing video games and the person above me snoring every night. There is a truck that parks in the middle of the parking lot making it difficult to get in and out; I have complained to management and they have stated that the truck has special permission to be there. Elevator ceiling often breaks and falls down. Floor is usually filthy. Front door latch is often broken and has been held together with an elastic band. Had to beg management for cameras in ...the parking lot area due to multiple car break ins with windows shattered. Although maintenance is fast with repairs, I have returned to my apartment unlocked and with the door slightly ajar after their service. There are bugs… but they do get an exterminator to come.Property Manager Responded

Our team did make an emergency repair to the front door and elevator while waiting for parts, and the issues have since been resolved. Our cleaning crew visits the community twice weekly to keep the common areas in good condition, however we will take your comments into consideration when scheduling cleanings in the future! The Alto Checks All the Boxes!
July 26, 2022I just renewed for the second time at The Alto and I am so happy I’ve found such a great apartment in Roxborough. Bright and spacious apartment? CHECK! Parking? CHECK! Washer and dryer in unit? CHECK! Taco shop downstairs? CHECK! I was able to renew very easily at a reasonable rate- which is very comforting in today’s rental market. Awesome location and building in Roxborough

Our unit is perfect and the building has a great taco place on the ground floor which is perfect for those nights when you can’t figure out what to make for dinner. Nice Apartment Building on Ridge

Awesome building and great management!
June 28, 2021My friend and I have been living here for a year so far and we LOVE IT! Our two bedroom apartment has a lot of space so we’re not on top of each other all the time plus we each have our own bathroom. Management has been attentive and had a plumber over quickly when we had some issues with our sink. Awesome location too- the best ice cream place in Roxborough is a 5 minute walk away and a delicious new taco place opened up on the bottom floor of the building!Property Manager Responded

Wish I Could Stay- Love it Here!!
June 17, 2021Great apartment, great building, great management! I have been living here since last year and sadly I have to leave Philly for work so I’ll be leaving when my lease is up. If that wasnt the case I would definitely be staying in my apartment. This was my first apartment on my own and it exceeded all my expectations! The apartment is beautiful- the bathroom is sleek and modern and I love finally having a bathtub. The management team was always on top of all of my requests and whenever someone from ...maintenance had to come to by to repair or replace something- they always followed all COVID protocols which made me feel safe. Be warned!
October 31, 2020Get the highest floor (4th) if you can afford it, otherwise if your neighbor upstairs happens to have a dog running around 24/7 - trust me, you will not be happy. The apartment management does not and will not step in to help tenants solve this issue! The wall insulation is decent but the flooring is not!Review from Apartments.com
