Great Staff but Theft is a problem.

Do not even think about to lease !
February 21, 2020The apt facing on the streets are terrible insulation , it is really busy street and all noise in the house and floor is shaking when big truck and trash car pass on the street. Do not believe if they told you no noise no complain ! They told me that everybody noise tolerance is different ! Really i moved from Manhattan to Houston last year and lived in busiest street in NY. I am so serious , I broke my lease paid the penalty to move out after one month and than they charged me carpet shampoo ...and wall touch up ! March 26, 2019The staff at The Augusta is more than attentive, flexible and helpful. I recently needed assistance locating a particular item from one of the many events the Augusta hosts. I went into it expecting nothing much, but I was lucky to bump in Ms. Sparkle. Her personality and charisma made the entire process a pleasure. Not only did she assist me at the time of need, but she also followed up to ensure that I have everything I would need to avoid any future questions. Good and Bad
December 14, 2018I lived here for 15 months. 4th Floor. Bad: *The Air Conditioners are old units. They waste lots of energy and rarely cool down the house when its hot outside. We got an electric bill reaching 300 once. The apartment did all they could. They sealed the doors and check the A/C but they always found out it was working good. Then again we lived on the top floor (4th floor). *The elevators broke ever so often. Maybe once a month. *The garage doors would break ever so often. Maybe once ...every two months. *We got a bill at move out for $75.00 for fixing the walls when it was unnecessary. Disputing this was received with no response. *Initially, they sold us on an 18-month contract. When we signed the contract, they said corporate didn't allow 18-months ONLY 15. *Management is slow to respond to issues. Except when it comes to maintenance issues - they were good on that. Except for the A/C issue. *Someone hit our vehicle in the garage. No response was ever given from the office when we requested footage. We called for weeks. *Trash always piles up, but that's everywhere. *Gas grill by the pool was broken since move-in. As far as I know, it is still broken. Good: *Beautiful set-up. *The kitchen is nice. Lots of storage. *Balconies are small but ample. *No ceiling fans or lights in living room. *Nice interior walking areas for small dogs. *Friendly neighbors with dogs. *Parking is convenient but parking spots are small/narrow. *No roaches, rats, or loud neighbors. This Apartment sucks
April 10, 2017The location is not bad. But the parking lots are too small. Their website are always in trouble, either under maintenance or updating. But the staff suggest we pay the rent through their website. There is one time we cannot make the payment due to their stupid website maintenance, are they charged us 85 dollars for punishment....... Great apartment
September 23, 2015Just moved into this apartment about 2 weeks ago. Have not had any issues and the staff is great! Love the area, it's close to everything. Only downside is the traffic around the area and the streets do flood when it rains (have not experienced it yet but the staff was upfront about it before signing the lease).Review from Apartments.com
