I loved living here for the last 3+ years of the my grad school. The rent is affordable, the place nicely sized (1 bedroom apartment) and a good location. Andy, Chyna, and the rest of the staff are really friendly and personable and they knew everyone personally that I saw interact with them. They know their stuff and will work with you.

As a graduate student at Purdue, I was worried that this location would be rough on my commute every day, since it does take two buses to get onto campus. But after awhile it definitely becomes manageable, a standard commute takes only ~30 minutes, as its only really two short bus rides.
Aside from this concern, I found the price to be extremely affordable, and suits my life well. There are plenty of extras included (like a little dog park, walking path, pool, etc) but to be honest I don't ...
really use them. I enjoy this location as a living space, it is cheap and surprisingly well-furnished. Best quality apartment I've had (even though I'm used to low-quality on-campus apartments). If you don't think you'll utilize the amenities, don't worry, it's still really nice!
But above, I'm constantly surprised by how much the landlord/staff care. It did not take long for them to remember my name and exactly which room I lived. I'm always greeted with friendly conversation and above all, any concern I have with my unit is immediately their concern. Even just a casual mention of a problem to Andrew will result in him placing a work order and usually having it done that day. They are extremely communicative about packages arriving, updates on work orders, and just what's going on around the Bluffs. In comparison to campus-apartments that I've had in the past - where the condition of your apartment must be tolerated since the landlords don't care - this is a whole step up. Again, I am constantly surprised at how much they care! I really would recommend, since this price is steal, and it works well with my lifestyle (and I assume for other lifestyles too).

I have lived here for 6 years, and i really like the apartments. Compared to other places i have lived there are a number of nice features:
Its green - Lots of vegitation on the property
Indoor hallways - Exterior doors are locked and the hallways are interior.
Indoor garbage room - Blessing when its cold or rainy out
Friendly office staff - Will actually talk to you and learn your name
Walking Path - Paved, fairly well groomed
Good Value
Downsides
Spa is down a lot - Hit or miss, its older ...
so has trouble
Maintence - Depending on season they get super busy
Parking - Specific to 305 building sometimes you have to park in a weird place as it fills up.
Overall i have to say of the 5 places i have lived, this is by far my favorite.

After living in a home for over eight years, I wasn't sure how the transition back to apartment living would go for me. I am also not originally from the area, so I didn't have much knowledge of apartment communities in the area. I wanted something fairly close to downtown, but also wanted to stay within a certain budget. There may be newer apartment communities in the area and ones that are slightly closer to downtown, but for the value you can't beat The Bluffs. The few maintenance requests I ...
have had since moving in have been addressed extremely quick. The building is super quiet and all the neighbors are friendly. I love the convenience of being so close to downtown and I got a great deal on the rental price and a move-in special on the security deposit. Office staff is friendly. Laundry room in each building has multiple washers & dryers and I never have trouble finding a free machine. They allow dogs, but I never hear dogs barking within my building and everyone picks up after their pet. I love my little apartment. It is the perfect fit for me!
