March 28, 2026Just did my lease, and it was fairly straightforward. The only complaint is the number of different logins and email messages I was bombarded with, some of which were only for Greystar marketing purposes. For example, Updater.com, which it looks like I had to sign up for, is merely just a marketing vehicle designed to add profits to Greystar's pockets. There is this site (Community Rewards), multiple different systems used to verify insurance (and attempt multiple times to get me to purchase ...insurance through the sites, which I'm sure gives Greystar a kickback), and like 4 different sites to upload background materials and income verification. It seems the system is designed to make it easy for Greystar and to generate revenue, but not make it easy for applicants.Property Manager Responded

March 27, 2026Comfortable apartment! Fast maintenance! I will say sometimes bad management of packages and guests. Also, thin separation between apartments weirdly. The wall separating my room and the room next to me has a gap.Property Manager Responded

September 1, 2025Moving into Chestnut Apartments in Philadelphia was an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was welcoming and helpful, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. The building itself felt modern, clean, and secure, with everything well-maintained and ready to go on move-in day. The location was another highlight close to campus, restaurants, and the city’s energy, yet still offering a sense of comfort and home. Meeting neighbors and settling in felt easy, thanks to the ...community atmosphere.
