Formerly known as The Nest, The Collective at Lawrence provides premier off-campus student living in the heart of Lawrence, KS. Choose from our 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom houses, as well as our 1, 2, and 4 bedroom townhomes. Each of these spacious floor plan options are pet-friendly and fully furnished, as well as a modern kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a full-size washer and dryer, walk-in closets and more. Water, sewer, and trash service are all included in your monthly rental installment. When you're not in class, you will love all of our community amenities we have to offer.     Long term plumbing issue The maintenance crew is very polite and respectful however, a true solution to the problem is never found. My toilet continues to back up and all that is done is a plunge. Water pressure is low sinks are slow to drain, etc. Our drains need to be snaked all the way through and down to the outside cap. I feel no one is interested in solving the actual problem.

The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of positive energy. The staff and patrons made me feel right at home. The staff answered all my questions and guided me to place my college student in a safe, fabulous apartment!! I recommend touring their facility!

    I really like living at the nest as a KU student because there is a separation between school and home. The apartments are extremely nice. I also love having my own room and bathroom.

    Living at The Nest has been a mostly positive experience. The location is super convenient, especially for someone my age close to campus and within a short distance of local shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The amenities here, like the fitness center and the study rooms, have definitely made my life easier when it comes to balancing school and personal life. The apartment itself is pretty modern and well-maintained. The common areas are clean, and I’ve never had issues with noise from ...
    neighbors, which can be a big deal in student living situations. The management is friendly and responsive for the most part, and maintenance requests are handled fairly quickly, although there have been a few delays during busy times.

    Overall, I have enjoyed my time living at the Nest. There are some really great features that make the price of rent worth it, such as the huge pool and hot tub as well as the Nest shuttle that takes you to the main spots on campus which is very helpful and saves you money/time by using the shuttle instead of driving and having to find a parking spot or buying a parking permit which can be expensive. Another plus would be the 24/7 gym that’s available for residents!
