About The Crows Nest
The Crows Nest was started in 1837 and completed in 1851. It was originally the main house on a 200 acre estate. Both union and confederate troops used it during the civil war. The brick patio between the back of the mansion and the Smoke House is available to all tenants and has outdoor tables and chairs. The building is locked, very secure and private. It is in the center of Berryville and a short walk to numerous restaurants and stores as well to the town parks and the branch of Handley Library on that is next to Rose Hill park. The building has its own laundry room with some storage. There is internet and cable access. Rent includes hot and cold water, trash pickup, snow removal and yard care. Your only utility to pay is electric and your phone and internet. Berryville is located at US340 and business Route 7. It is 25 miles west of Leesburg and 10 miles east of Winchester. The Crows Nest is located downtown, two short blocks from the main street where there are many restaurants and cafes, banks and shops. It is a short walk across Rose Hill Park to city and county offices and the library. No smoking, please. No Pets. Lease ( 1-year), security deposit (one and a half months rent), and references are required.
