The building is poorly maintained. The folks in leasing office do not care much about complaints or grievances. Maintenance is low effort. The building is not secure. I’ve lived here for about 9 months now and the longer I live here the more I hate it. Nothing about this place is above average. The building is old so some parts leak and cause molding. Even the mold they treat like it’s no big deal. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

I’ve tried contacting Decko Apartments multiple times and have been sent straight to voicemail every single time. I even left a voicemail and never received a call back. What makes it worse is that when my girlfriend calls, they pick up immediately — which tells me they choose who they feel like speaking to. The customer service is extremely unprofessional and poorly managed. The property may look nice, but the experience with the staff has been disappointing. It comes across like the people ...
working there think they’re above everyone else, and it shows in how they treat potential residents. Definitely not the type of service you’d expect when considering a new home.

The area where the complex is located is great because it has many surrounding restaurants, Whole Foods, and shopping centers. SLX has lots of beautiful floor plans and superb equipment. I had a genuinely fantastic experience visiting the apartments at the SLX. I really loved the cabanas and loungers, and someone even had the huge TV on in front of the performance stage when I was there.
