Great place and great staff
September 8, 2020Not many choices when it comes to downtown apartment living, but this was by far the best! Great location, great customer service and by far the most professional and kind people we've come across during our search. We had appointments scheduled with each of the apartment communities in Downtown Sarasota. This was the only place that from the get go was kind, willing to help and genuinely nice. We met each of the ladies in the front office and all were the nicest we've come across. The apartments ...are beautiful, modern and new and the location is perfect! We knew from our first round of phone calls that this was going to be the place, and we were right. We are so happy with our decision!Property Manager Responded

Very honest opinion about customer service
January 28, 2020Sadly We havn't even come there yet, but already experiencing unprofessionalism and ignorance from staff. The service with leasing agents is lacking, they simply do not communicate with you and if you have any questions they simply ignore you. Unfortunately it does not help if you are moving in from different state, they are not flexible, basically having us move in earlier (but we are not there yet because apartment we wanted could not be on hold for more that 2 weeks), they are not fast ...answering our questions over emails. I asked to switch agent and it was ignored. I also asked if they have any promotions and the answer was negative, sure enough 3 days after our move in date there is promotion 1 month free on their website for new residents. I asked if that apply to us, and this email is still IGNORED. I only hope living here will be better than current experience...Property Manager Responded

Do not recommend
August 31, 2019Don't move here, expensive rent for luxury living although there isn't anything about luxury living in this apartment building other than the amenities offered that you can't access. Locks do not work for outside entry (haven't worked for 3 months) and management is unresponsive and inept to ongoing major issues with building. Roaches are on the 4th floor and major flooding on the first floor grilling courtyard due to inadequate draining. Building is wood frame so you hear everything around you ...and hear internal plumbing. I've lived here for almost 3 months and the apartment has yet to have the working, accessible amenities they market. There's zero room in the bike room for any more bikes, so don't count on being able to access that amenity. However grounds and maintenance crews are nice and friendly and will fix repairs within the apartment within 24 hours and are very responsive to repairs within the inside of the apartment. As far as maintenance contractors for the outside of the building- fire, door and garage locks, landscaping, etc, they are terrible and unresponsive and management at Elan is just as bad, if not worse with handling issues. Parking is non existent in the garage if you live on the first floor, be prepared to drive up several flights in the garage to take the elevator back down to first floor. Also parking garage gate lock doesn't work either. Save your own headache and don't move here!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Best Choice in Downtown Sarasota
October 2, 2018Found Elan Rosemary via Apartments.com and have not been disappointed. I moved in very early on, and while the building is still under construction, it has been an overall pleasant experience. The office and maintenance staff is super friendly and very helpful, the location is ideal for me, and my apartment is great. Since I've been here I've only needed maintenance once and they responded very quickly and resolved my request in the same day. It took a while for the pool to be released, but ...definitely worth the wait. I just read a review below that says there are too many millennials? Not quite sure what that means, but there are a good mix of resident ages here and everyone I've interacted with or seen in the common areas is typically pretty respectful. Apartment living is probably not the best for you if you don't do well with sharing common spaces. Not everyone follows the rules all the time, but the office staff has always taken any concerns I've had seriously and addressed them appropriately. I usually don't take online reviews too seriously when I am searching for an apartment, but I honestly would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere in downtown Sarasota.Property Manager Responded
