It feels like an eclipse how nice it looked until I moved in
March 30, 2024This place has mold issues. I've lived in 2 separate buildings on property and both had reoccurring infestations(the first being roaches because of a specific neighbor they wouldn't reach out to). Maintenance did not respect scheduling or requests not to enter unless let in, they just knock and enter whenever they please. The outlets are loose. The wooden stairs are unfinished and have been for 2+ years, and the concrete basement steps to the laundry room slant downwards so they are a hazard ...to use. I have personally fallen down them and it really hurt but the building contract specifies they are not liable. The gym regularly changes hours and can be only available from 8am-3pm on weekdays several months out of the year(which the building owner never seems to be aware of). The leasing office staff rotate in and out extremely quickly(very high turnover rate). And finally there are signs of gang activity(tagging and shoes on wires). I used to live in Hammond IN, I know what I'm looking at. This place is an absolute mess and rent is only increasing. The building is very old as well and does not have any fire safety.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Terrible
July 28, 2022If I could give zero stars I would. This apartment complex is janky as hell, very outdated and very lazy. Maintenance will come into your apartment and leave garbage and tools that they used for you to clean up. I’ve waited for them to replace my bedroom door finally two months after reminding them 3 times they came in and just screwed the door back on instead of replacing the whole door which was VERY old and raggedy. This apartment complex also has bed bugs. After notifying them they have bed ...bugs they come in with pest control that couldn’t even properly do treatment or find the bed bugs because all they did was waive a flash light on the bed for 5 minutes. I had to call a different company to do everything the right way. They have a history of bed bugs and to avoid THEM paying the fee they will convince you that the bed bugs came from you and you will have to pay $500 for a problem that hasn’t been solved they also have someone moving into the apartment as we’re leaving without notifying them of the bed bugs or treating the problem before the next resident comes to move in. There are rats running around the bushes and trash in broad day light and also animals running through the ceiling all day and night. There is mold growing around the bathroom and all maintenance will do is come spray Clorox on the wall. The heat barley works in the winter and your shower water will take 20 or more minutes to get warm every single day also your sink water. Theres always spiders crawling around and just in general this place is very old, raggedy and LAZY. Nothing works in the workout room and it’s very dusty also the pool is always very dirty. The walls are so thin you could literally talk to your neighbor through the wall! The front door isn’t patched well so if anyone wanted to kick the door down it’s possible to do and the windows don’t lock properly for safety. Please avoid this place save your money seriously.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Countless Issues
May 2, 2022I wish I could give it a ZERO star. Money hungry and lazy people from the office do not care about the residents and the issues around us. The laundry room is completely a garbage with trash on the ground and holes on the ceiling. The fitness center is tiny, dark, and suffocating. The parking lot is just a mess with rats, garbage, and lots of potholes that could destroy your car. Now when it comes to a room, you will see how dark it is and you need to keep the light on even during a day time. ...Ridiculous. Again, all they care about is lure as many people as they could without disclosing all these issues, and lock you in upon signing the lease with many surprises such as the rent increase, vandalism, noisy neighbors, and all the issues in between.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Love it!
April 28, 2022Love this place! Moved in almost a year ago and just renewed my lease. My apartment is beautiful (I get compliments from friends when they’re over about how nice it is), the property grounds are kept up well, snow removal is fast, the renovations to the laundry rooms are really nice, fast maintenance response, property management is wonderful and friendly, neighbors are friendly, and quiet area. Never any issues!Review from Apartments.com
Corrupted Place
April 21, 20221. Bad management: They do not care about the residents, they just try to stay away from the problems that are actually happening and all they care about is exploit money from us by raising the rent. 2. The parking lot is just messed with pad holes, garbage, and rats. 3. The fitness center is just trashy. Multiple equipments are missing, and we all know that they were stolen, but the office is not doing anything about it. 4. Dog poops are everywhere on the lawn 5. The heater keeps making this ...banging noise that keeps us up all night. The management people it’s being worked on for maintenance, but it’s not been fixed for a couple years. 6. Again, the community manager at the office is very condescending and does not try to solve neighbors issues. She just leaves it up to us to deal with them. Bad management at its finest.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Worst Apartment
April 3, 2022At this point, I wish I wouldn’t have moved here. There are so many things to point out, and they wouldn’t even try to fix them. 1. The trash area is messy all the time and I saw some rats here and there. 2. I guess the wall and the floor are very thing, I can hear people playing music and watching tv all night. The management people simply do not care about the noise complaints, and all they suggest is call the police. They take a big chunk of money for rent, but still, they don't do anything ...at all. 3. There is something wrong with the heating system, and it constantly keeps making this banging sounds. I’m sure I’m not the only one who can’t sleep every night. 4. The fitness center has been closed for some vandalism issues, which is my obvious reason why I would move out right now. 5. Regardless of the issues above, they’re still increasing the rent. The worst apartment ever.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Good Overall
November 6, 2021New management is kind, caring, and actually manages the apartments very well. Maintenance is quick & efficient. Community is always clean. Love the property. Great for dogs for sure. Never used laundry services because I personally can’t stand the thought of paying to do a weekly deed (but most large apartments are like that). Gym was great during the day because kids weren’t there. It’s a pretty basic home gym. Pool is nice too, can get crowded on weekends. MY ONLY COMPLAINT: you can hear ...EVERYTHING through these walls. I just so happened to live next to neighbors that have a tiny dog who DOES NOT stop barking when they’re gone. If you don’t leave for walk, imagine how annoying that could get. And when I say you can hear everything, you can hear whole conversations people are having. So if you value your sleep or quiet time, that is the downfall here. I understand most apartments you can hear things, but here… it’s amplified. These are paper thin walls.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Bad Management
April 9, 2021I submitted an application. They denied me even though me and my roommate had amazing credit scores and fit the income requirements. They didn’t bother calling my place of work for income verification. My work location was fairly new so they haven’t set up a website yet. That’s what they used to deny my application. No website.Review from Apartments.com
