Building Manager issues and structural issues

Building manager recently changed and after that they got rid of the front desk staff. Now the front desk is rarely staffed. They have no system for allowing entry for authorized visitors like cleaners. You have to purchase an additional key and coordinate with the cleaning system on your own. If a package comes at the wrong time, there is no one to let them in the building. I have tried multiple times to get in touch with management and they will only provide the general email address and the ...
general phone number as a point of contact. No one responds when they say they will and management is totally unreliable. On top of that the building garage has structural issues and a huge chunk of the sidewalk is blocked off with a pile of fences and no posted sign. It has been this way for months. I renewed my lease early before these problems and now I feel stuck. The building really does not function without a front desk staff.

For the most part my experience living at the Elle has been a blessing. I LOVE the view & The building is beautiful & amenities are awesome! The staff is very nice & helpful. How ever, a few things I can't stand, that make me discourage about living here long term. 1 the walls are way too thin. It's ok occasionally to hear neighbors, I understand we are in an apartment but for a luxury apartment they shouldn't be so cheap & build the walls so thin. young, maybe a college student, she is loud too often , plays loud music, has loud company all the time, comes in loud talking all times of the night & early morning , instead of using the common area for company or going into the game room when its open, or something. She has no consideration of her neighbors just every day is way too loud. I have complained about the loud music that was daily & that has stopped but why does the Elle management not discuss noise, when new tenants are moving in? They didn't with me, I just learned the walls were thin from a neighbor that knocked on my door the 1st day I moved in to complain about the noise I was making from moving in my stuff smh I couldn't believe it, its hard to move in super quiet it will be some bumping. But any way, the other issue is rats in the parking garage, on the 1st floor where the entrance is, there is a gap from outside to the garage that could easily be covered or sealed up. I seen a few times rats running in form there. I complained about this to management & was told they have maintenance look into, but nothing ever got done. I'm paranoid every time I enter & leave the garage to go back into the Elle Building, it's uncomfortable. We just pay too much money to have to see rats!!! I use to live in Englewood & I shouldn't have to see rats here, at a luxury apartment! & the package room is too often a mess & difficult to find your packages, again I pay too much money to go thru this inconvenience. I Am a bit disappointed for the amount of money I pay to have to deal wit these inconveniences. Thank You

The apartments are beautiful. The amenities are great. The view is great! The location is great. The walls are thin unfortunately. Most of the staff is great but honestly, I’m disappointed because the mail room is horrible beyond unprofessional and there’s rats coming in the parking lot that could be an easy fix if they cover up where they’re coming in on the first floor by the entrance by the door and the trashcan and the parking situation is such an inconvenience no one should have to walk ...

I love my apartment it’s an amazing few & so far so good. I have to honest I don’t like the parking situation no one should have to wait months to get a parking space & I chose The Elle bcz they had Electric car charging & I can’t even charge my car where I live is a inconvenience & I’m truly disappointed, it’s been super stressful the parking situation. & the mail room is chaotic, I pray they hire a person or 2 to get it organized and together. ...
Other than that it’s been a beautiful place to live, so far. I just moved in not even a week.

Everyone in the leasing office is exceptional. The Front Desk attendants are always so friendly and kind. And we appreciate the maintenance and custodial workers for keeping the building very clean and well maintained. We are beyond pleased with all elements of The Elle and thoroughly enjoy being residents here.
