  • 911 reports do not lie

    June 14, 2023
    They can decrease the amounts in rent all they like; repair only the front of the property to look nice, but 911 reports do not lie. Every other day, if not 3x a week, 911 is called for domestic violence or a theft or some other property crime. Lights are out in the back of the property with a continued disagreement with the city on who needs to change it. And ROACHES. Don't get started on the amount of roaches I have seen. No one picks up after their dogs, either.

    I lived here for 3 years due to convenience and price. I really shouldn’t have expected anything more than what was given since it’s an affordable complex. During my stay at the apartments, there were numerous issues that were handled beyond poorly. If I could give them a zero star review I would. Equipment in the apartment routinely had issues because it was extremely old. We went several weeks without an oven after putting in a request for someone to come look at it because it wouldn’t work.     air unit went out twice in the middle of the summer the past two years and no one wanted to do anything to resolve that issue. We had our LOCKED cars broken into MULTIPLE times and the management did nothing to resolve or prevent the same things from recurring. Our door had been leaking for months before they came to fix it. There are leaky pipes that continue to leak and that never get fixed, they are just painted over. Upon moving out we were explicitly told when we paid our prorated rent and final water bill that our account was zero dollars. Well, after a month of being out we get a bill for $200. After leaving messages and calling to discuss the final statement with the manager, we only got another staff member. One of their leasing agents told us very clearly that the pet fee would cover any damages from the pet and that we had a zero balance. None of their staff is on the same page of how to run things since were told that they just didn’t all do things the same. They’re not running a business office, they’re running a circus. I would certainly never stay here and again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to stay here. If I could do it all over again, I would have never lived there. Don’t make my same mistakes. Take your money else where, they’re not worth your business.

    Water leaks on numerous occasions that they failed to “slap paint on the ceiling stains” as they stated instead of properly cleaning. All they did was stop the leak and never returned. Never power washed or cleaned outside sidewalk or hallway carpet where urine spread from one leak. Does not know what dry wall screws are so cabinets constantly fall and can’t even screw them back in straight so you can’t even use them. Cockroaches all over. Office staff, not all but some are very condescending and ...
    rude when discussing issues. I’m tired of being polite. They also just offered a $100 rent incentive and after paying rent early sent out an update switching it to $30. Completely scummy apartment building. Rent elsewhere.

    Don’t waste your time or money here, cause when it’s time to leave they’ll find a way to force you to stay or pay two months more after you vacate (within 30days). I had multiple conversations with in office staff about leaving and asked if there was anything I needed to do and was told NO, but a week before I’m supposed to move out I’m being told that I’m now responsible to pay for two more months whether I leave or stay because my notice was never written.     My roommate and I love our apartment. There are pros and cons to everything, and I'll start with the pros. The apartment itself is fantastic. Our carpets were brand new, the cabinets are new, and it came with a little washer/dryer combo that is perfect for our needs. The walls are thick, so we almost never hear our neighbors. The neighborhood is quaint and nearby to everything we need. Maintenance is fast to respond to our needs - for example, when our washer started making a weird noise, ...
    we had a brand new one within two days. More than once I've come home to find that our power has been shut off for repairs with no warning for up to eight hours. The front desk shrugged it off and offered no help or discounts. While it is a gated community, the gate will often be left open whether the guard is present or not. There is only one place for trash and it is at the very back of the community, and it smells just as bad as you'd think. Luckily, our apartment is very far from that, but if you decide to lease here, make sure you're far enough away from it. Other than that, we'd definitely recommend this complex. Nowhere is perfect, but all in all we were very pleased.
