My fiance and I moved into this apartment because of it's location. I work in Rochester and he works in Watertown so we both have long commutes and this location is perfect. It's right in the middle for us and easy to get to. It's PERFECT that it's right on the golf course and that we have access to trails on the property because we're both active and it's nice to be able to come home and get our workouts in without having to travel to a gym or park. Everything is always beautifully maintained
...and the apartments themselves are very nice. We had a bad experience with another Bville apartment with cockroaches. We almost moved in, but found roaches right at the last minute so we got out of that lease. We have absolutely ZERO worries about pests, uncleanliness, or safety at Timber Banks. So if paying upwards of $1000 will get me a roach-free apartment, with nice neighbors, quiet, and beautiful scenery, I'll pay that all day long.
My only qualms are that the office staff seems a little incompetent and I wish the gym was a little bigger with more diverse equipment. When we first moved in, we mounted our TV on the wall only to find out afterwards that the cable input we planned on using didn't work at all. Luckily, I had an extremely long cable and was able to route it under our carpet to the other side of the room but it was pretty inconvenient. We told the office staff that the cable input on the RIGHT side of the LIVING room didn't work and she wrote to maintenance leaving out all those details. So the poor guy came in while we were at work and left us a note that said "The TV and cable seem to be working..." Ugh. We've run into a few other issues like that but we've been able to solve everything.
The apartments are pricey, but well worth it.
