June 21, 2024Very enjoyable experience We really enjoyed the 3 1/2 years we’ve lived at the Flats. It was perfect for us as a starter living place, and the staff was always extremely helpful and ready to lend a hand. We decided to leave because of two reasons. Firstly, the rent was increasing every time we renewed our lease, and secondly, we were ready to start living in a home and building equity. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories. June 10, 2023Its true, the renovations aren't stellar, especially with the paint job--I've got paint on door hinges and over an outlet. But the space itself is pretty nice, as are the included kitchen appliances. I've never had problems with staff or maintenance. Though it probably isn't worth what what they charge, I don't really see better options in this part of Toledo.Property Manager Responded

can’t wait till my rent is up
December 24, 2022I’ve been living here for 9 months and still question what my rent is used for. May take weeks for maintaining requests, can’t use the pool in the summers because of outsiders. The club house is suppose to be stocked with snacks and drinks to welcome their visitors and haven’t had anything since April. Doggie bags are NEVER stocked and I have to walk through a forest of grass cause its to hard to mow properly. I’ve had 6 maintenance requests in less than a year that may or may not get done. My ...walls look like absolute trash the paint is bubbled and peeled everywhere. These buildings need condemned or owners that value their renters money. Absolute trash. Absolutely Awful
June 18, 2021They may look pretty but they aren’t underneath. Old buildings in disrepair, staff is constantly unavailable. Property manager is AWFUL and rude. No one ever gets anything done. Rent is too high for the behavior and terrible condition.Property Manager Responded

A Good Cover for a Terrible Book describes these apartments
May 3, 2021My friends has been living in these apartments for a year and I’ve seen the damage that they just cover up with paint. My boyfriend and I went to get a feel of the community and check out the pool with some wine coolers, but then we heard a man barking at us... he worked in the office. Instead of coming up to us as and talking to us about it, he choose to yell like we were children. It was embarrassing and uncalled for, behavior was just disrespectful and distasteful. I wouldn’t recommend living ...here. And we erect there by ourselves, we went with 3 of our friends who are living in these apartments.Property Manager Responded

Property is in poor condition and no staff available
August 8, 2020The show unit is beautiful but the actual units are not. The workmanship is very poor with gaps in the flooring, doors that do not shut due to the layers of paint, exterior doors falling off the hinges and overall cheap quality of labor used. Also, the staff is not equipped well. They are not helpful nor timely and most often no one answers the phone or email. The community guidelines are not enforced so there is a lot of theft, pot smoking and loud noise.Review from Apartments.com
Beware!!!
February 26, 2020I asked for carpet for a bedroom for five years. I asked multiple times and never so much as received a response. The ceiling was peeling off and falling down on my head and that was after the renovation! The "new paint" looked good for about two weeks and it too started to peel off in great sheets. I had to have help, to clean the apartment after the workers doing the so-called renovations cleaned up nothing and stole food out of my refrigerator ! For all that trouble I got a surcharge when I ...finally moved out of the mold filled apartment of over $280 for damaged carpet in the bedroom ! I'd be careful signing any contract to live here! Poor management
July 28, 2019Signed a lease back in April for what I was told was a 1 bdr with a walk in closet and if I applied and signed in 24 hours my first month of rent would be free. Called in May to inform them I would be bringing a dog and requested first floor and the worker said “first floor 1 bdr with a den” and I corrected them that I only wanted the one bdr with a walk in closet (cheaper and less sqr ft). I was supposed to move in on Saturday and they informed me my apartment had not been cleaned and was not ...ready to move in. When they handed me the paper for what I owed it was way over the price we had agreed on and they stated that was the price for the 1 bdr with a den. I again corrected them that I only wanted the 1 bdr with walk in closet. They told me none of those units were available and they would not allow me to have the den for a discounted price. All the offices for other apartments are closed so I am unable to even look for a new place until Monday and I have to be moved out of my current place by noon on Wednesday. They also told me they had never run a deal for a free month of rent and were insisting I still owed at least half the first month. None of my friends that live there have had anything good to say about the management here and one of my friends had the same problem where the room they signed for was no longer available at the time of move in but they were at least able to make accommodations.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
