Look before you move in

I would not recommend living in these apartments. We moved in in February toward one before we put in our application and liked it. Moved into a different one on the other side of the building that we did not get to tour till we moved in. We have had issues with water leaking from the upstairs neighbors due to them “dumping water by accident“. We called the landlord and put multiple maintenance request. They have never gotten fixed or they just want to fix it by patching it over instead of ...
tearing down the entire ceiling. The landlord also wants us to have video proof of it leaking because he said he does not believe that it’s leaking from the ceilings. On top of all that we have had a power outage we had to get a hold of him for six times in a row for him to answer, and to let him know that both buildings were out of power. I cannot have a moldy ceiling in my apartment due to me having a three year-old and a newborn. We should not have to call landlord or put multiple maintenance request and get denied the help we need to have a better environment for our kids.
