  • terrible place to live

    My experience here was terrible. I found crime to be higher here than other places in the same price range. Many reported car break-ins, cops on-site responding to calls weekly or so. Extremely noisey neighbors - building has a frat house / party vibe. Trash in the hallways and stairwells and hallways smell teribble. Those are just a few main issues. It has some great reviews but it definitely was a terrible experience for me.

  • Worst place to live

    January 19, 2021
    I haven’t even lived here for a month and it’s super expensive, none of the appliances work correctly. The door to outside doesn’t seal and constant air and a loud whistle comes in when there’s the smallest amount of wind so you can’t sleep. My truck was vandalized and almost stolen right out of the “secure” and “gated” parking garage. The gates never work, anyone can access the premise, there are no cameras in the buildings and any issues are never fully resolved or fixed.

  • Iffy about things !

    I love the gramercy ! Glad and thankful to be living here . But the new people who bought out everything (Lyon living) are pretty irritating... since they've came it doesn't feel comfortable at home honestly ! I'm hoping things get better but the staff is pretty bad and I wasn't very pleased with how they run things at all I just want to feel welcomed into the place I live and I haven't what so ever... the only good service is Maintniece.

    I was surprised to find the other reviews, because we have had nothing but excellent service at The Residences @ Gramercy. We were looking for a six month lease, and they were more than happy to accomodate without hicking up the prices and charging extra. Even the small problems have been handled immediately. Maintenance has been right there when needed - excellent job. And that has been seldom because the place is being well taken care of. It is so quiet that until I open the door, then I ...

    The responses given by management is completely inaccurate. The prior manager was taking care of the growing pains and making sure issues got resolved. It would take her some time but she got the job done. This place went down hill with the new management in 2016. Don't let them fool you. Also if you noticed, they did not reply regarding the type of tenants that they allow to live at the Gramercy nor did management comment on the sewer smell coming out of the pipes and toilets from all the ...

  • Horrible Service

    July 29, 2016
    The worst service I have ever experienced. The staff rarely answers the phone or returns calls and never follows through on service requests. They are not on the same page about their policies and they don't follow any protocols so you'll get different answers depending on who you talk to. On average it took me 4 or more calls/visits to the office to get an issue as small as requesting a new air filter handled. Rent is way too high for what's currently being offered. These are not luxury ...
    apartments. The model home they advertise is very nice but all of the actual units are different and most are very basic -nothing like the model. They also advertise a number of amenities in the retail space many of which are not yet available. You're paying for things that are "coming soon." The pool is small for the size of the complex and often too crowded to enjoy. If you move in, you'll be bombarded with emails and threatened with fines (for everything from how you walk your dog to what you store on your patio) on a daily basis. And you better like the smell of weed because you won't be able to walk through the halls or enjoy your patio or the public spaces without smelling it. They "try" to impress with stuff like free shots of alcohol and wine when instead, they should focus on getting the basics of customer service down. I moved out and even that process was difficult with surprise fines deducted from my security deposit. I was told at move out that I would get my full deposit back. When the check came there were deductions. I did not get a returned call when I asked to be able to discuss the fees with a manager. Not a surprise. As many other reviews indicate the staff never tells you the truth. Save yourself the trouble and don't move in!

  • Horrible place to live

    May 20, 2016
    I moved in the first of the year and I was sold on a lot of broken promises. There were promises of an upscale steakhouse and retail, none have arrived. There was a promise of the G-Lounge on property being 24 hours which never happened(bait and switch). We were told about the farmers market and movie in the courtyard...these have yet to be seen. Then we moved into the unit and found fraying carpets, paint on tiles, carpet and hardwood floors, a broken screen door that leads to the patio and ...
    scratches on the patio door. We brought this up to the leasing office ran by Northcap. They proceeded to fix the screen door but nothing else. We have since had problems with the screen door falling off the track and have put in service requests to get it fixed 3 times and all 3 times they have been no shows. We have complained to Rachel the property manager 2 times and still have had no resolution. We have also brought up the fact that the gates are always left open, we feel unsafe because random people walk around in the halls and on the property, people that do not belong in the garage parking in the garage, dirty hallways, broken trash chute, only one elevator is ever available to use, trash in the landscaping overlooking our balcony, and the constant smell of pot. When I recently went into talk to Rachel about the issues with the gates and the garage I was told that its all the residents fault that she didn't have any thing she could do about this. I was also told that I shouldn't be posting reviews because she doesn't believe in reviews. I am so unhappy and wish that I never even moved in here or signed a lease. Nothing is getting fixed and we continue to have ongoing issues and property management never does there job and takes care of anything. Most recently we had a gas leak on property and we were all without gas for a full day and night. I reached out to management and the emergency number stated it was not considered an emergency and no one would be called. I had to call SW Gas and was told that they found a gas meter pipe broken and yes there had been gas leaking into the building all day the day prior. The Gramercy choose to never let residents know anything except the gas company was "testing" our appliances and that was not until the next day. Do not let them fool you into signing a lease because you will soon go through this as me and a few of my neighbors continue to have issues.

  • Something goes wrong every day

    Every single day something goes wrong. I have been here a while and it was a mistake. The halls do smell , the gates are always open. Two elevators in each building but one is always broken (in my building). The garbage chute is broken. I love the coffee shop on the premises, but that does not make up for the other failings. They do offer some freebies- free car wash twice a month, but they should use the money to hire another maintenance person.

    I'm never the person to write a bad review, but I've lived at Gramercy for awhile now and I couldn't be more unhappy. This place is terrible. Stupid overpriced, the staff is so unfriendly and all they care about is your money. Once you move in you're nothing. They make broken promises left and right about all of the amenities. I was so excited to move in and once I did I realized all of the things they promised were a lie. Ps, when people say it's all strippers and pimps that live here, it really ...

  • Safe, stylish, superb service

    I've been living at The Gramercy for two months and couldn't be happier with my decision to move here. The staff is very friendly and service minded, the pool and social areas not only look great but are actually places I want to spend time every day, and the air-conditioned underground parking, with each access to elevators, is very convenient as well as pleasant during baking summer days. The quality of the construction is excellent and I have yet to hear about anyone experiencing issues with ...
    noise. The area is quiet and I love running over to the mountains in the early morning and watching the sunrise as I run back. For dining, there are lots of restaurants and coffee shops within a 5 minute drive and I understand that several restaurants will open at the Gramercy itself soon.
