I’ve lived here for going on 4 years now and I love it. Every apartment has their ups and downs but the Griff’s positives far exceed the negatives. Staff (especially Linda) has always been so helpful and so kind. I couldn’t recommend enough. It’s close enough to south end & uptown with still the advantages of being fairly quiet.

Great Location, Horrible Theft

I love the location and the amenities that The Griff has to offer, however, parking is sparse and theft has gotten so bad. They need a gated parking lot or 24/7 security. The thieves have gotten smart about security patrolling at night and started stealing items from cars/apartments/mailroom in broad daylight.

This place is going down hill fast. Original management team was great. Super helpful at the drop of a hat, even knew you by name. Management that took over July-ish of 2022 can’t be bothered to get up out of their chair, and look annoyed that you’re there. Can’t get in contact with them either, not an email address to be found. The old management group you could email directly, and you’d hear from them within 24 hours at the absolute latest. They have Amazon lockers but haven’t set them up, ...
letting the deliverers drop it in a pile by the side of it. Dog poop everywhere out AND IN the buildings, and maintenance nowhere to be found when there’s issues. Glad I’ll be moving out come October. Not to mention they think they can charge Manhattan level pricing because they have big patios. Not worth the money, not worth the time. There’s plenty better complexes nearby that are cheaper or about the same price.
