February 1, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comI should have read the reviews before moving here. I am literally miserable. I usually never do business with people with bad customer service, and true to the reviews the office staff were rude to me when I first began to apply. I didn’t really check out the actual apartment I was moving in but had viewed a few models. I was excited about being in a smoke free environment. Please listen to me when I tell you that this is not a smoke-free complex and it is not gated at the second complex. There ...are two areas and only the one at the front office is gated. The complex is loud, and the courtesy officer is inoperable like the gate. The entity under me literally shakes my floors with some type of subwoofers or speakers. I dread going home. I am convinced that the only comfortable people here are people who are loud and smoke every day. To be objective, it may be where you’re located. There appears to be some quiet people, but they are the minority. If you smoke and like to party, this may be the place for you. If you’re looking for a solitary place, love quiet, enjoy meditating, and desire to not smell weed regularly, I would stay away. No policies are enforced here.Read MoreProperty Manager Responded

I've tried for over a year to get an issue addressed that was ignored and dismissed time after time by the previous office staff. October 24, 2020 - Review from Apartments.comSo the living space/ area is nice .. I just think it’s sad that they haven’t done anything for the residents (like other complex) during the pandemic or ever ... .. Oh we aren’t going to charge you a late fee for a month or 2...( this does nothing for the people that are never late)... they only keep the pool open for 3 months out of 12 months ... They haven’t opened the gym back up... Since the resident haven’t had FULL access to the “amenities” why are we will getting charged the full rent. ...They could at least work with local gyms to get a free memberships since the gym is closed until who knows ... So for a person to go out and get a gym membership when they are suppose to have access to one is sad...that’s an extra 30.00 or dollars that the resident has to pay since they don’t have access to the gym and pool (really only 3 months to use the pool) ... the gates haven’t worked in months ... These overflowing trash containers are an eye sore to see ..( valet trash service would help with this )... I’ve lived in places were every so often they would at least do to go breakfast for the resident ... But I will say it’s a nice area and it’s quite. November 3, 2020We value our residents and their concerns, each property had the option to reopen the amenities and The Grove decided not to because the property couldn't safely ensure the social distancing and sanitation guidelines as the numbers during the pandemic continue to rise. Amenities are not something tenants pay for, it's simply a complementary privilege associated with the property. Going the extra mile to take precautions unlike others is the best overall outcome and safety for your community and those in it in which meets most satisfactory.
Poor Experience

My husband and I said that we didn’t want to try apartment living ever again due to prior issues with the apartments we stayed in, but this one seems so much different and we pray that it is. I requested information to be sent to me and received it almost instantly. Crystal is Phenomenal and very Professional! She stays in contact with you and make sure you are good every step of the way. We looked at ...houses early that morning and decided to take a look at this apartment home. When we walked in, it was like the gates of heaven had opened. It's Definitely Our Home
March 29, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comI’ve lived on the tennis side 2 months; my Apt is 3 BR w/a patio. My App & move-in were smooth. The staff was helpful, esp. w/new owners. They did keep Jessica & Christi (asst. Mgr & Mgr) on & both know the property & are available for questions. Appliances are dated (you provide microwave) but they work well. My stove has a built-in timer, self-clean, & an alarm for when the oven has reached pre-heating temp. The negative to the kitchen is, there isn’t enough kitchen storage to store cookware, ...dishes, & pantry items: canned/boxed goods &/or spices & baking needs. It has several closets; laundry, Master & 2nd BR walk-ins, Master linen, & 2 more in hallway. The 3rd BR is more an office space as there is no ceiling light/fan, but it functions perfectly as a BR. The Apt has many convenient outlets. Another thing I love about this Apt is the bay window in the Master BR. For an Apt, we get a lot of natural light. The Master closet is NOT in the bathroom, which I love & it is big enough for my small freezer, clothes, and I still have space. I DON’T like the Master shower; the bathtub is narrow & tho there is great water pressure everywhere else in the house, bathrooms included, the shower is mist. I can take a 20 min HOT shower w/door closed & mirrors don't steam & it takes 4-ever to rinse my 3” hair. Also, when I step into my tub, it sinks a bit, it's like on a trampoline, the spot you stand goes down. I actually hate my shower, for these reasons. If the shower were better, I'd rate 5 stars. TWO ISSUES W/THIS APT: The 1st issue: The floors & counters AREN’T level; I didn't notice until hanging things on the wall. I’m certain it’s this building & it’s nothing anyone can fix. The 2nd Issue should’ve been fixed b4 I moved in, bc it was discussed & I rented the place a full month b4 I moved in. It’s the only issue reflecting on the property: the carpet is VERY old, smells musty, is stained, has no padding (1/4” -1”gaps between carpet & baseboards) & is patched BADLY. I thought it would be replaced b4 I moved in, Asst. Mgr even commented during the viewing & as I said, the apt was vacant a month after signing until I moved in. The patch job gets caught in my vacuum every time I vacuum & w/no padding, the floors vibrate when walked on & are noisy and the gaps look gross. All this said, the maint. reqs are same day w/a note of what was done & how. I can pay online, & most importantly, I feel safe. I would recommend this complex to anyone.Read More

April 22, 2016 - Review from Apartments.comManagement was horrible. I had BLACK MOLD in my apartment for over 2 months while they did nothing about it. My pets both got really sick. I eventually had to move out and got stuck with a ton of fees for breaking my lease.

I enjoy the large space I have in my apartment. its gated which I love. I have no complaints with anyone. We all friendly and the dogs are so cute. even though I don't own a puppy. they are so cute to watch from a view. I love it out here. I have easy access to shopping stores, eatery in waling distance. Grocery ...stores in a split hop. I am so glad I found these apartments. they have tennis court , gym, pool all that a girl ask for. I have told my friends how quiet it is out here. compare to apartments I was living in before. I would tell everyone to come and feel the experience I have. just peachy.Read More
Quiet building, bugs, sub-par maintenance
August 31, 2015 - Review from Apartments.comThe building I am in is very quiet, everyone keeps to themselves and keeps the noise levels low. The apartment itself is livable. I have had problems with bugs almost year round, nothing too crazy but I do notice small spiders around. Worst I've seen in my two years here was 2 baby scorpions and a large adult scorpion in my bed room. tip: Try and live in a building that is shaded, or not in direct sun. I live in an area where the sun hits my bedroom in the morning and the living room at ...night, it's hard to keep the apartment cooled down in the summer since it is constantly being baked. Maintenance would be a 2 out of 5 for timeliness and actually fixing the problem. If you email a ticket in, you might have to call as well just to make sure someone gets to your problem. There is only 1 trash can and it's all the way at the entrance (if you live in the area near the office), so if you live far into the complex, you're going to have to lug your garbage in your car. It is not a bad apartment complex, just need to keep in mind to stay on maintenance about tickets, make sure you don't get scorpions and get an apartment that has decent shade on the windows.Read More
