I had a very disappointing experience
August 16, 2025I had a very disappointing experience with this apartment complex. From the beginning, it felt more like buying a home than applying for an apartment—so many hoops to jump through, and even after providing 4 months of consistent paychecks, they still seemed to doubt my qualifications. Initially, I was told there would be no deposit, but later I was asked to pay a non-refundable $500 fee, which felt very misleading. The first lady I spoke with was kind and professional, but the manager's attitude ...was extremely rude and dismissive. It was clear she had no sense of customer service or value for potential tenants. I ended up wasting $75on an application that led nowhere. Thankfully, I found another apartment right after—completely different experience. They treated me with respect, guided me through every step, and had me moved in within 2 hours. Looking back, I'm relieved I didn't end up at The Hartley Apartments. It could have been a very frustrating home choice.
