Just One Apartment Left for This Season - August 1st lease BUT can be as soon as July 22nd!!- apt 205!!! Apartment 205 has an open floor plan with two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are nice sized so one could easily be used as a home office or studio. The apartment's large windows face east. These are located in the living area. Both bedrooms have large skylights with solar powered remoted controlled shades that can fill the bedroom with sunlight or turn it pitch black. Ceilings in this 1,171 square feet apartment are ten feet high. Flooring: main areas bamboo, bedrooms vinyl laimnate tile, and bath ceramic tile. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub with a ceramic walled shower above. The building is quiet, professional, secured, and rent includes free parking (a rarity in downtown) and free wifi. Tenants pay for their own water, natural gas, and electricty. We do not have the average water bill but the current, outgoing tenants, average power bill (gas and electricty) for 2024 was $70 per month - (the building is super insulated). We firmly hold that apartment buildings should be quiet. Each apartment floor plan is unique. All have open floor plans. Finishes are similar throughout. We pride ourselves on quick attention to maintenance requests - we even change your light bulbs! The Hickory Street Apartments has traditionally had a large University of Illinois influence. Over the last ten years, we have had a U of I football coach, administrators, professors, scientists, and graduate students as tenants.
