Off to a bad start…

I was the first person to live in this apartment… First red flag: I was given the tour and was never told the rooftop was something you had to pay for. I move in and go to the rooftop and can’t get access. Second: I didn’t have A/C for the first week I was there. Third: There was issues with my door. Fourth: There was a hole in the bathroom, where the light was. All maintenance did was move the light, which made the light not centered. Fifth: The communication was not great. It took forever for ...

them to respond about something; longest was almost two months. Very nice apartment, but it is WAY overpriced for you to get nothing. I was informed cars have gotten broken into in the parking garage. When I first moved in parking was $100 and it was first come first serve, now it’s double the price.

Leasing company rarely replies to issues, bike room broken into, front door gets jammed deliveries can’t be delivered. Trash room is horrific and the entry way and hallways are not kept clean. Great area in town but that’s it. Unfortunately no outdoor areas.

I live in the building and from all of the other tours I have done in the area, this was the best option. I got to see most of the unit layouts and they were all really great, it was hard to choose between. The management is also extremely helpful and made the process seamless. Would highly recommend to check this building out if you are on the market for a new apartment!

I just moved into 1805 N Howard, and so far the experience has been great! Everything is new in the building, which is a far cry from my previous brownstone which while cute was close to 1000 years old. They have something called amazon key, which lets the amazon delivery driver scan the barcode on the package to enter the building, so you don’t have to buzz him in. They still had a couple of parking spots available so I was able to rent a covered spot, which has been a complete game changer for ...
