Poor Management, Squeaky floors, very cold during winter.

The apartment has a very poor management. There is just one guy doing the maintenance for the entire place, and you have to schedule maintenance very in advance. I haven't had any emergency maintenance situation, so I don't know how they'd respond to that. Electricity bill was very high during winter due to low insulation (~$200 constantly), even though we kept the apartment at 55.

broken into and all the expensive bicycles were stolen. The management was not responsive, and neither further actions were taken nor any update was given; even though they had 2 security cameras running looking right at the bicycle racks. I tried to check with the local police and they said no incident was reported. It was more like, oh yeah they got stolen so what can we do.
They have wooden floor, usually duplex. It gets very squeaky. Unit to Unit noise is high vertically.
The apartment I would say, is average, compared to other apartments in Troy downtown. However, the management takes at least 2 repetitive emails to respond.
One thing I liked was Farmers market held like right in front (could get a little noisy when your unit is by the road), and the river view.
