themselves, there are different kinds. We live in a high-ceiling unit on the third floor, which gives us access to a terrace complete with trees and roses in front of our unit. The high-ceilings are great and so spacious. Some parts of the condos might need updating, such as the kitchens or bathrooms, but it depends on the unit. The Keys staff work very hard and are always available if you need help with something or have a question. There are lots of dogs here, and they have started enforcing rules to keeps dogs on leashes and to make sure people pick up after their pets. So far, that has been very helpful! The Clubhouse has free wi-fi, coffee and lemonade, TVs, a fireplace, books, a billiard room, and so much more to offer. We spend a lot of time there, and since they've remodeled it, it looks modern and comfortable. The Keys is situated right next to the Iron Horse Trail, which is a big bonus. There are three pools here as well, which my children love. One great thing about the Keys is that, living here for a while, you come to know your neighbors and when you are out walking or at the pool you usually see someone you know. It's a warm feeling and I love the fact that this place is it's own special community. People help one another and many people are very kind to my children. The Keys is situated near Downtown Walnut Creek, and it is between two BART stations, so the location is awesome! Definitely a special place to check out. It's become very family-friendly and the management and staff work very hard here. No place is perfect, but as I sit and write out this review, I realize that for many years the Keys has been a special place to me, and I am grateful I can share it with my husband and children now.

plumbing damage. The landlord is great and when I do repairs he lets me deduct the cost from the rent. A couple years ago I had to go on chemo therapy and got a couple weeks behind on the rent and he has never complained. I still can't seem to get it paid until around the second or third week but when I go by to pay him we still stand around and chat like we are old friends; as a mater of fact we are by now. The place is on the top floor with a view out the front and back with hardwood floors, granite counters that I installed in the kitchen and simulated travatine tile shower for 1500.00 per month which is really cheep for Walnut Creek.

amenities such as the swimming pool, spa, washer and dryers, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a gorgeous clubhouse (free hot chocolate and lemonade in the summertime! A lake is in the center of the complex and many residents go out on walks around the expanse. Many families live here . The beauty of the landscaping during the day versus the romantic atmosphere of the night evoke relaxation and inspiration for anybody. The Receptionist and Maintenance staff respond well to resident issues. The Keys have been around since the 1970s so there is a natural need for renovation. The beauty of the Keys, the open mic nights at the clubhouse, and the central location make the Keys a wonderful place to live and relax. My wife, our three kids, my father-in-law, my grandmother, and I love the Keys and are very fortunate to rent here!
