Not for me
January 1, 2026I just moved out and not soon enough. There's a reason there are so many office staff and maintenance personnel with the issues from old buildings and the turnover. Don't let the clubhouse fool you as the property is old and dated, they did good for the office employees. Dozens of abandoned vehicles, packages left outside, dirty apartment lobbies. Just not up to standard for a complex of this size and the price. You can find better.Property Manager Responded

Iffy
October 12, 2025Old buildings that are dilapidated and visually unappealing from the outside, especially when walking on the outside with a lot of bird droppings everywhere near each apartment, especially on the stairwells. Kind of disgusting. I find it strange that there is so much attention to detail and cleanliness at your first point of contact where not 1 , not 2 , not 3, not 4, but 5 office personnel work. 2 pools (rarely used by residents) and another workout building (again rarely used), yet 2 things ...every resident uses are also dilapidated or non-existent (mail boxes and package rooms/lockers). The mailboxes are ancient (decades old) and packages are just left unsecured all over the community (an open invitation for thieves). Parking is abundant despite at least 30 cars either abandoned or with expired license plates. Decent location to the western part of Nashville. Some good, lots of bad, I would pass.Property Manager Responded

I love my new apartment
February 4, 2025I just moved in January and I couldn't believe how quickly I was approved. I thought I would be put on a waiting list. I was approved within 5 days off submitting my application. It's in a great area you're about 20 minutes from West End. The office staff are very helpful as well. Definitely recommend this place for futures residents.Property Manager Responded

No secure place for packages. a big no for me.
December 11, 2024I saw the review of "renter beware" and the response. I have not seen an apartment complex without lockers in forever, and would most definitely stay away from due to the sheer number of theft, let alone the packages outside in the cold and heat, even if covered, at all. Love and will miss the Lakes
April 17, 2024This community is by far one of the most impressive communities in the area. I'm not only referring to how beautifully landscaped, excellent the maintenance team is or the activities, those are all amazing, but what stands out about the Lakes is their dedication to the people who live at the Lakes. I have been impressed over and over by Rachel and Heather and many of the other leasing agents that I have come in contact with over the last 3.5 years. I am so grateful to have been able to spend my ...most beautiful moments in Nashville here at the Lakes. I have enjoyed each moment and am sad to say goodbye. Oasis in the city
October 17, 2023The Lakes at Bellevue has been a very pleasant place to live. Management and maintenance are impressively communicative and responsive. There has never been a time I've reached out and not received a very quick response and the request handled. Also, the grounds are kept up very nicely and it is a peaceful and pretty complex. The interior of the apartments is also nicely maintained. I highly recommend The Lakes to anyone looking to live in a quiet, tidy, and professionally-run apartment complex.Property Manager Responded
