I moved to Wichita for work and had just one week to find a place to stay. After checking out six other complexes and almost losing home I stumbled upon this location The Landing l! I love the location, the design of the common spaces, as well as the apartment itself. The pricing is SUPER reasonable, especially when compared to other places nearby. The staff, particularly Marcie is probably the hardest-working leasing manager I have ever encountered in my life. She has everything under control ...
and is really easy to reach if I have any concerns. She makes things happen. They even have a dog park for all of us fur baby parents lol. But as long as I live in Wichita and The landing keeps up this standard, I have absolutely no reason to sign a lease with any other apartment complex.

Management is horrible. After three weeks of maintenance ignoring my requests because of building code violations in my apartment, I received two phone calls from management. I emailed them to inform them I wanted all communication in writing. They stated, “we’ve been trying to reach you for days!” Which was a lie, they called twice, that day, that’s it. They said they would fix it the next day. It’s been a week still nothing done. Do not live here.

We also offered to let you out of your lease if you were still unhappy which you did not want to leave. We also had the city inspect after your complaint to them and they did come inspect and did not find any violations. We'd love to make you happy and have tried multiple ways. The couple times before it had come back to work after a day or two, and maintenance would show up after a week and then say there's no issue (Well duh, try showing up when the service request was initially submitted perhaps?). This time however, it's been more than 10 days and A/C hasn't come back, and maintenance still hasn't showed up. First off we talked to the lady about renting an updated 2bed, then once we went to look at the place she switched it on us and said the only one she could do was a non-updated one. So we bit the bullet since we needed a place even though she told us that all units got remodeled once they were empty.
About a week into living there our A/C never started cooling the place down and we moved in during the hottest months of the year. After 2 grueling months of living in an apartment 83+ degrees 24/7 ...
and them doing nothing about it we got her to agree to break our lease so we could leave.
Then they have the audacity to not return calls or emails for 4 months regarding our security deposit and once I finally get ahold of them they say not only do I not get my deposit back but I actually owe them money. 0/10 this place is awful.
