Apt was not move in ready
November 14, 2025I moved into The Lodge at Spring Shadows about a month ago. The staff helped me find a unit that fit my needs, and the apartment is a good size and nicely updated for an older property. I am giving three stars because the unit was not ready for move-in and the number of problems has been frustrating. I was told the unit would have hardwood flooring, but it had carpet. I only found out on move-in day because I was not allowed to see the unit earlier. After moving all my furniture in, I was told ...the flooring would be replaced, so I had to move everything again while already living there. The dryer that came with the unit also failed twice. It stopped mid-cycle both times, which left me with wet clothes for days while maintenance attempted repairs. After multiple visits, it was finally replaced. This should have been checked before I moved in. Now there is a ceiling leak in my garage that has soaked the floor and makes it difficult to walk to my door without stepping in water. It appears to be a plumbing issue and may require opening the ceiling. The resident portal has also been down for weeks, so submitting maintenance requests has been confusing. The unit itself is fine, but the move-in preparation needs improvement. These issues should have been addressed before I arrived, not after.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

July 4, 2024Friendly staff, helpful to settle down tad easier that other that I visit in the same area, especially for first timer. Rental insurance seems to be a good deal. Apartment has freshly painted wall. Nice area with pool and gym. Next to bus stop for 46 Metro which is modern vehicle every 15min and local access to basic store and food and gas and ups.Property Manager Responded

June 5, 2024Living here has been awesome! The location is great and my neighbors are so sweet. This apartment community is a great place to live. The staff are professional, friendly , and gets the job done when it comes to maintenance issues. I love hanging out at our very nice pool with its heated hot tub.
