When not desiring to maintain a home anymore, there were many choices to consider when downsizing. Brownwood was an unknown entity after living in Palo Alto. The Lofts was a perfect choice....beautiful complex, resortstyle pool, friendly seniors, good rental fee, access to Brownwood Square., safe environment, activities. and dial M for maintenance !!!!! Lastly...met the 2nd man in my life here. :)

Life is easy here . No need to deal with contractors, concerns with A/C, sprinklers, lawn service or property tax.
Call and them come fix it no extra charge. What’s not to like.
