In the City Centre community over all I feel safe, I like the corporate, business energy throughout the day. It is very motivating. The variety of restaurants is great, good food. April 27, 2017I stayed at The Lofts in a swanky 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment in the East building after relocating there for a few months for work. I absolutely loved it!!! I could never say enough great things about my experience!!! The location is fabulous because it is very close to the highways and located around great restaurants. It also has a gym in the West building that is open 24 hours/day via the key fob which is very convenient. It is in a shopping complex which was so helpful since I did not ...need to walk far to go to nice stores. It is located next to Sephora which was a HUGE highlight for me because I ? Sephora and shop there all the time! I also liked having a designated parking spot since I did not need to spend time looking for one. I met many of the residents there who were very nice and friendly. I had some good conversations with them, too. It is considered the Westside of Houston and it is easy to get to the surrounding areas. The apartment size and space was massive! I had a roommate and it was very easy to cook, move around and feel comfortable after a day at work. Recoe and the rest of the staff were great and extremely helpful. I was a little sad once my work assignment was over, but I definitely plan to return to Houston to visit. If I lived in Houston, it would be my 1st option as a place to call home.Property Manager Responded

Great in theory...
August 14, 2015I was super excited to be living in City Centre. I love all the shopping and restaurants at City Centre and being able to walk just about anywhere. It is a beautiful urban lifestyle center. I will start with the positive things about the complex. It is located in City Centre with the east building near all the restaurants and main green and the west building facing the Beltway. The location is very convenient. The apartments have a nice layout and finishes. A base level cable and internet ...package are included in the rent as well as a membership to Lifetime Fitness. Lifetime Fitness is a first class gym that is located in City Centre a short walk from the complex. Unfortunately, the negatives far out weigh the positives. There is no pool or gym, which is why you get the membership to Lifetime. There is garage parking; however, it is not direct access. Your assigned space could end up being on the very top floor, which is not covered, as mine was when I first moved in. They will put you on a wait list, but it could be months before a covered space opens up. Because it is not direct access you have to take the stairs or elevator down to the ground level, then walk to your building, then up more stairs or the elevator to your floor. This obviously makes carrying groceries to your apartment a real pain. I bought small cart to make this somewhat bearable. The buildings are currently having the stucco and windows replaced. There is ugly scaffolding on almost every side of the buildings, which blocks any view you may have. This situation is obviously temporary, but annoying. My biggest complaint about this complex is the noise! Despite there being a noise ordinance in City Centre from 10pm to 7am, I am constantly awakened before 7am by loud disturbances. I can't even sleep in on a Saturday! The other day, I was awakened by tree trimmers at 5:45am! Twice I have been woke up by the deafening sound of workers cleaning out grease traps at 5am! Despite numerous complaints to the apartment management and the management company for City Centre, the noise ordinance is not enforced. My advice to you is to look elsewhere! For the amount of money you pay this place is not worth it! That is unless you don't mind waking up at the crack of dawn every morning! I will NOT be renewing my lease and will be happy the day I relocate to another apartment community.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
