I lived here from October to mid-November of 2023. I wish I had googled "the Lofts at the plaza" and selected news to see the trouble at this place in the recent past.( a fire, drug bust and shooting) My apartment had been recently renovated but had a musty smell that I could not get rid of. Even after moving my cloths smelled for a week or so. Anytime I was in the apartment I had the windows open because of this smell. smoke in which I did not care for. Most of the staff was nice and helpful. When I moved out I asked for my security deposit back. I was told this would take 4-6 weeks. I kept an eye on my on line account it seemed to fluctuate regularly sometimes I had a positive balance sometimes negative. The next notification I received was from a collection agency saying I owed the lofts at the plaza $370. It would have been nice if the lofts reached out to me before turning me over to collections. They had my contact information and I had always paid them on time in the past. When I called to ask about this they said they had mailed a letter,(I did not receive the letter) and that if they don't get a response in 7 days they turn you over to collections. However, if they owe you money it takes 4-6 weeks. I'm glad to have moved out and would not recommend these apartments.
