BEWARE of Renting here!
June 23, 2024Ever since the rental management company got changed last year, the overall condition of the community and quality of maintenance services has turned out to be surprisingly abysmal. The advertised indoor pool gets closed on frequent basis. There has been a huge SAFETY CONCERN in the community these days. There were no proper prompt maintenance or response for service requests. We lived with a water leakage from the adjacent HVAC unit for months until it was properly fixed. Lived seven months with ...a BROKEN A/C UNIT for which multiple service requests for replacement were repeatedly deferred. And above all, good luck with getting back any of your SECURITY DEPOSIT as all your money will be deducted one way or another even if you rent there for long term.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

October 26, 2023The apartment next door to us flooded and water leaked under the wall into our apartment. The property management team sent maintenance to dry the carpet and then put it back down. A month later, we’re covered in rashes, there are black mold spores on the clothes in the closet, and my ten year old is having trouble breathing at night. The maintenance team came and determined that the carpet needed to be replaced, the baseboard needed to be replaced, and they needed to open up the wall and see if ...there’s mold inside. The property management team decided that was unnecessary and had a painter come paint over the wall instead. We reached out to the maintenance team to ask why none of the mold remediation was executed, and he assured us that there is in fact no mold in our apartment. So we opened the wall. Guess what? FULL OF MOLD. Property management team hasn’t called or emailed us back, maintenance team hasn’t provided next steps, and I’ve been assured that there’s no circumstance where they will move us to another unit. Disappointed
July 4, 2023I moved here less then 2 months ago. First I was not told there was an arrangement with COX cable to have installation done asap for free. As a result I waited over 1 week for internet, which i MUST have to work. I had to stay in a hotel to work. Lobby, elevator dirty. Hallways dingy. Carpet and walls in apt art depressingly old, dingy, pathetic. Blinds FILTHY and pieces broken off. All windows filthy, noisy - window sills gross. Aren't these apts cleaned for new tenants? POOL: Deciding factor ...coming here was indoor pool, Enjoy swimming in summer but also needed for PT. It's NEVER open when I go. Today - JULY 4 - pool, common area, sauna - closed. I planned entire weekend based on poolside today. The common area has "free wi-fi". This is not true. You get free wi-fi ONLY using their computers. And this was another reason I moved here - the free wi-fi in common area. To top it all off, new management shows incorrect rent charge. I'm very unhappy here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

So far so good
July 3, 2019My move in was great and Ashleigh has been very helpful throughout this whole process! The only issues that I have is that there seems to be a problem with figures owed at move in.. I'm still waiting for a response in regards to this situation. Luckily they still allowed me to move in on my expected date.Property Manager Responded

Good access, facilities, front office
February 11, 2019The Place at Catherine’s Way is at a good location for its price. Most of the apartment communities in the area are marketed as luxury condos and while they might have slightly nicer finishes, they want an arm and a leg. Catherine’s Way is a bit more budget friendly and that means making a few compromises (one centralized garbage, dated appliances) it doesn’t mean you’ll settle for sub-par management and the community facilities are nice. From my first tour to move in, Kathie from the office made ...everything easy, she was a huge help. When I ran into a couple maintenance issues, the team was in my apartment the next day taking care of the work order. Snow removal is prompt and thorough and the office staff is always happy and helpful if you stop by.Property Manager Responded

Poor service
February 7, 2017The place is nice, but the facilities (for which there is a mandatory fee) are poorly maintained. The worst thing is that there is only one place to throw away trash and you have to drive to get there! To make matters worse, it is often full, so there is no place the leave the trash at all. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMMUNITY!!!!
July 17, 2016I am staying in The Place at Catherine's way for about 2 years. For last one year, the experience is bad especially after the ownership changed from TGM Waterford to another group (hence the name change from TGM waterford to THe place at Cather's way). 1. Maintenance is not good and they take their own time to resolve the issues. Requires multiple follow-up and your patience will be tested. 2. The trash area is mostly full and people just throw their trash on the ground 3. One of the stove ...tops does not work and not resolved even after reporting. 4. Microwave Oven stopped working and Maintenance said will be replaced in 3-4 business days. It has been 20 days and still waiting. Office staff has no clue and failing to provide an ETA even after several follow-up. 5. Construction is average and air easily comes through all the windows. Consumes lot of heat and electricity due to this. Overall, I would give below 1 star rating(if possible) and definitely would NOT RECOMMEND this to others.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
