    I have only been living her for two weeks but I have to say I am very impressed so far. The first three days I was I here I did not realize my air conditioner was not working and went to the office to ask, they kindly said they would put in a request asap. I had not even walked back to my apartment before maintenance staff was at my door to check it. He was unable to fix it and said he would have the tech come out. Less than an hour later the tech was here and had it fixed in less than 20 min. I ...

    I lived here from June 2021-2022. I went a month without hot water. I emailed every day asking for updates and all they said was they “were working on it.” I got hot water back in my shower but it never worked properly in the kitchen again. The only way to get the kitchen sink water hot was to run the shower full blast for a while. There was no dishwasher so I had to do this to clean my dishes. I had roaches the entire time. The management was nice but they would often completely ignore my emails ...
    and I’d have to send multiple emails to get any response. Heater broke for a while, garbage disposal broke, fridge never worked properly. I see now that they’ve raised the rent $400 since I moved in which is ABSURD. I cannot believe they think their units are worth that much. It’s sad.

    Continuous rat and cockroach issues. As mentioned previously in someone else’s review, maintenance is awful. They would claim the work order was completed when they never showed up. Took months and months to get some of the issues even looked at.

    Management was okay, but Maintence was poor, would sometimes mark requests as done, when they in fact never showed up. There is a very bad rat problem in the complex, and we’ve had cockroaches in our apartment since the day we moved in. We’ve had exterminators “bomb” our place at least 5 times in which we have to clear out the entire living room and kitchen as well as the cabinets inside. Very inconvenient. Lots of leaks as well, we’ve had our AC unit leak as well as our light fixture in the ...

  • Not luxury but it works

    Best prices in the area for a one bedroom apt. There are more expensive apartments in the area that basically offer the same amenities and floor plans as the Meadows. The Meadows is definitely similar to if not better than The Birdcage, and the Renaissance apartments. My only complaint is that there are way too many cars parked right next to the entrance making it difficult to pull out with out almost jack knifing someone.

    The Meadows looks nice on the outside but you will endure more than you plan to living here. The place is disgusting and crawling with roaches they do not take serious precautions to end the problem just issuing treatments with their contractor who do their job poorly. Management never responds to tenant complaints or issues and give you the run around. You waste a great amount of money to live uncomfortably.

    My fiancee and I were somewhat hesitant about moving to The Meadows due to some of the reviews that we had read on here. We began our search in May because the complex we had been living in was just getting worse and worse, on top of upcoming rent increase. We couldn't justify living there anymore and paying a higher rent for the same issues we had been dealing with. The Meadows was actually the very last place that she and I looked at. The first time we walked in we were greeted by Julia ...
    with a friendly smile. She was even kind enough to show us the model even though it was close to their closing time. Something about The Meadows just felt right for us. It was a $75 a month increase from where we were currently living, but it was just the right place at the right time. The Meadows had a 1x1 coming available exactly when we needed it. That night my fiancee and I went home and filled out the application on line. We were notified the very next day that we had been approved we brought in our holding deposit and we moved in just a few weeks later. We have only been living here since June, but we know without a doubt that we made the right decision. This complex is a little older, but its still very nice and our apartment is great. The people we have met so far have been very friendly. Thank you Julia and all of the Meadows staff, it always felt like everyone went out of their way to make sure we were happy and taken care of. The maintenance staff is very friendly and responds to any issues we might have. We really appreciate everything.

    In my opinion you should not move here. Reasons 1. The staff is Unfriendly Example: Blamed for basic maintenance needed, they messed up paperwork and implied it was our fault despite double and triple checking our end before they noticed their own mistake. 2. Accent wall and carpet cleaning are guaranteed (But not always provided) Example: Lived here for years Guaranteed carpet cleaning every year but they only showed up once, and that was several years ago. 3. Repairs are slow or ...
    nonexistent Example: Moved in years ago and three out of four burners would not work. Now two work.Toilet was dripping when I moved in. Toilet is still dripping. I basically get tired going to the office several times a week for work orders and give up after 6 months or so. 4.High crime rate (Not the apartments fault but disturbing) example: We have seen Citrus Heights Swat in action 3 times in the years we have lived here. Once their was a tank! That was kind of cool, not for them, but it was still cool to see, but it was 2:00 am. I am conflicted about this one 5. what you see in the model is not always representative of the apartment you will move into Example: Didn't happen to us as there was no model available when we moved in but I know a couple people who have moved in since and they are not always moved to an apartment that has been remodeled.   • Do not move here

    Don't move here unless you like loud neighbors and an office staff that doesn't care. I would not live here again. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more and go somewhere else. They showed me the "staged apartments" when I was applying to live there and they offered me a painted accent wall for free. I never had my wall painted (I even picked out a color with the girls and it still never got done) the show room was nothing like what I got. Their show room is nice, nice carpet, nice cabinets ...
    and all and then I get my keys and go to my unit and my cabinet doors don't even close all the way. I can see all the sloppy repair work done to the walls especially above my shower. The paint they put on my counter tops peeled off after the first cleaning. The heat is poorly done. The heat unit dumps into a 3x3 square and the only about half that air actually comes out of the vents. The windows are not efficient at all. During the winter months cold air would flood into my apartment. I have had so many problems with my neighbors, the pot smells coming into my apartment, the loud music that plays all times during the day. The office staff that doesn't take the necessary steps to fix these issues. Just live somewhere else.
