Disappointing Experience at Melrose Apartments.
May 9, 2024I recently had the misfortune of living at Melrose Apartments and was extremely disappointed with the management and maintenance services. The office was often a mess, and it was nearly impossible to get in touch with anyone via phone. Calls would go unanswered, and tenants were frequently left wondering if anyone was even working. To make matters worse, the office would sometimes be closed during business hours, leaving residents feeling abandoned and ignored. The lack of staffing, particularly ...in maintenance, meant that work orders would take an inordinate amount of time to be completed, leaving issues unresolved for far too long. Furthermore, I witnessed the manager on property, engaged in a prolonged conversation with one of the workers, seemingly oblivious to their responsibilities. Meanwhile, the other office staff appeared uncertain about their roles and responsibilities, contributing to the overall sense of disorganization and neglect. I would not recommend This Apartments to anyone looking for a well-managed and maintained living environment. The inside of my unit is really cozy and I love having a pool right outside my door. Poor communication/response time
May 13, 2023complaints are left unanswered or heavily delayed often. Maintenance is very slow, the dog park is unclean and dog waste is found on property. Management needs to really step it up or will continue to struggle and beg for customers and customer reviews.Review from Apartments.com

Candlelight Estates
September 4, 2015Candlelight Estates is a great apartment complex. They are a small complex located on Pinemont Drive minutes from the Heights area in Houston and minutes from three major freeways so commuting is very good. The residents are very nice and friendly. The management and landlord is very attentative, ready and willing to help if a resident has a complaint. It is the perfect community if you are looking for a nice quiet place to live. The rent is very reasonable and the apartments are exceptional. ...I've been living there for almost two years and I don't want to move I love it there.Property Manager Responded
