When I moved up from California, my plan was to rent an apartment, learn the area, then buy a house. Well… that was 4 or 5 years ago. I’ve been at the Oliveen ever since, & it’s not because management put an outside lock on my apartment door. ?? The truth is that I absolutely love living here. The staff is wonderful, responsive, & genuinely cares about both the residents & the property. The grounds are beautifully maintained year-round, the buildings are high quality, & the location couldn’t be ...
better. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, & clean, & you’re right down the road from one of the most charming little downtown areas you’ll find anywhere in the area. Somewhere along the way, I completely forgot about house hunting. What started as a temporary stop turned into home. That’s probably the highest compliment I can give. If I had to do it all over again, I’d choose this place without hesitation. Just don’t blame me if you move in & end up staying a lot longer than you planned. ??????

The location is great with its proximity to stores and restaurants while also being distant enough that is stays relatively quiet. The maintenance staff does a great job of taking care of the grounds and are very responsive when help is needed. It’s also great having a pool on property for the summer months. My biggest complaints are still the loudness of the hallway entrance doors. This is probably mostly an issue if you have a unit directly touching those. They are loud and also resonate ...
through the walls. You can imagine how fun that is at all hours of the night. The other problem is the ceiling insulation at least seems inadequate. I’ve met with our upstairs neighbor a few times thinking there was something excessive going on because it sounded like we were living beneath a bowling alley. In truth, I think it’s just the insulation so that even footsteps are not dampened very well. If you get a unit mid-hallway and the top floor, conditions might be about perfect.

The building is clean, parking is easy, the hallways are a little warm though. But overall the other residents are quiet and respectful from what I’ve seen.

Was a beautiful unit and am interested in living there permanently. Management was awesome. Love the pool and how close it is to Costco and Walmart

I love how modern and safe the Oliveen is. I see lots of happy pet owners but never hear a dog. The workout facility is well equipped and the location is ideal.
